Sure wouldn't want this wing nut for a neighbour. Obama's people had the symbol covered for a good reason. He was addressing all Americans, not just the Jesus freaks. Unless they can find something derogatory to say about Obama, some people just can't have a good day. Don't they have pills for that?
UMMM DUHHHH ...HE IS THE ANTICHRIST THE BIBLE SPOKE OF...DONT TAKE EINSTEIN TO FIGURE IT OUT... ALL GONNA SEE BUT SOME JUST CANT SEE EARLY LIKE OTHERS...I THX GOD FOR DISCERNMENT.. ITS ALL ALMOST OVER NOW...COME GET HIM JESUS!! I KNOW YOU VERY VERY NEAR NOW!.. WOW THIS IS IT
The Roman catholic churches cannot even stand firm with the name Jesus towards Jesus dislikers, even secretly forsake or put aside the name Jesus to gain greater power or worldly desires, what kind of faith are they, what kind of Jesus based Religion is that, sounds like they use Jesus's name for simple people to walk into there churches for a lot more money, popularity and power.
I find this video especially revealing in light of Obama's decision to support the building of a mosque at Ground Zero based on the "constitutional right" of people to worship as they see fit.
Apparently, he does not want to offend anyone with images of Christion devotion, but feels it is ok to offend victims of the 9/11 fanatical muslim terrorist attack.
what are you talking about, IHS means Isis, Horus, Set after the pagan trinity. Jesuits will make you believe it stands for In Hoc Signo Vinces (In this sign you shall conquer).
@ghana25 oh thank you so much, at last an educated comment. this guy really gets my blood boiling with his ignorant uneducated assumptions but i keep on watching, dam it! hehehe but if people like us don't watch and correct his mistakes and let me say there are a lot, the sheople will think he knows what he is talking about. well done to you ghana25.
Christianity is the most bullshit religion as history tells us. Many of criminals hide themselves in the church do anything shits in name's god. Both Catholic and Protestant have no right to worship Christ at all. What they have done to others is only genocide and destruction of precious cultures. fuck off Christianity and criminals.
@Cartman0112 u dont understand man, christianity is not a religion its the truth, everyone who is not with satan knows that, u obviously dont. other religions are fine for me, but only the one who reject jesus are condemmed. btw. explain to me FATIMA, LOURDES, PADRE PIO and MEDJUGORJE, if u dont know about it then research frirst before satan tells u to wright bullshit my brother. COME HOME
huh? I have no idea that miracles truly happened or not, but Christianity and its faith abuses woman's human rights like witch hunting. what I and you can be sure that Christianity always commits on any crimes in any ages. How that Priests raped children in their Church around world? they do same things in my country Japan and does your god love such sexual pedophile criminals? I don't think so
@laaaguna13 Problem is that people who blindly believe in criminal priests, I know there are good Christian people but they are also ignorant and tricked by Church. In fact they believe in Church as if that Pope or priest represent to their god. Christianity and Christians embody being Ignorance. putting Church between people and god is the biggest problem of Christianity, I hope you will realize it soon
@Cartman0112 take me for instence, i am a catholic , i go to mass twice a month i confess twice a year, i pray every day , and i dont have much to do wizh the pope,i do not worship him like jesus. anyway he is our biggest authority in this life, but not in a ense like a president or a dictaor, its about faith not cutting taxes. just imagine how many parishes are their in the world and priests, u can not have a decent overview what is happening their
Is this guy for real? For anyone who's interested, Georgetown has covered the IHS many times before for secular events, presumably to avoid conflating secular events with any kind of religious messages. If they left the IHS visible, crackpot Republicans would have said that Obama was trying to "play Jesus." So they covered it to avoid sending that improper message.
Also, the guy in this video sounds barely literate. Just wanted to point that out.
I for one am proud to have a secular president. Of course he had to lie about being a christian to get into office because he is too smart to believe in your bullshit. You don't own this nation Christians get over it.
I just found out about this tonight. The Jesuits should have told that jew lover Obama to take a fucking hike.Let him find a different place to suck John Thompson's balls.
It was a joke. If a protestant like me attended in a Catholic university even for a secular purpose I would not make a big fuss about their 'idols' that they had to be covered or taken down just so I can prove my point that I am an all-religion friendly guy/ Mr. Separation of church and state. While he's saving face, this university is just kissing his messianic ass.
There's a difference between freedom of religion and what folks like Obama do. I'm a completely atheistic libertarian; I'd defend in a second the right of anyone to display whatever religious symbol they want on private property. But general welfare doesn't include religion, so public dollars shouldn't fund that sort of thing. In a free society, one should be free to choose to be religious or not. No government should force religion or non-religion on the people in the public or private sphere.
I believe that little stunt at Georgetown was just testing the political waters. The big push was Notre Dame where he could try to blurr the moral edges on abortion and gain some political points with some spineless Jesuits and naive undergrads. For those of you who are...keep thinking critically and honestly. This man cannot win by reducing Catholics who oppose him to some crazy radical fringe. We do NOT need to be taught by this narcissist!
I think it was a bad decision for Obama to cover up the "IHS", but I think it's quite a stretch to attribute all these ulterior motives to his actions. Maybe he was being too careful about making sure he wasn't endorsing any religion. It was still a bad decision on his part, but why do people have to read so much into it?
Thank you for your comment. Can you please point out to me in this video where I speculate about President Obama's motives concerning the covering of IHS?
I was unable to locate where I did that. But I did locate all through the video where I lay blame and scorn upon Georgetown University for selling out their faith.
Do you like freedom of religion? I am guessing so. Then stop trying to tear down the separation of church and state. He's the president, not the pope.
I agree with him ,if our president was a christain and love god , he wouldnt be unwanted by catholics churches across america . just pray that he doesnt raise taxes anymore or go to war . Amen
I wish they were as enthusiastic as they are now at denouncing those priests when they were abusing little boys. 'Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name, drove out demons in your name, and performed many miracles in your name, didn't we? Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you'. Get away from me, you evildoers!' (Matthew 7:23-24, International Standard Version). This Statement from Jesus is making more sense to me now.
Why do so-called "Catholic" Universities in the States like Georgetown & Notre Dame CONTINUE to invite this TV Evangelist, A-Rab so called "President" of yours & his low-life cronies like Biden & Pelosi to spew their beliefs & bullshit on their campuses? Here at Saint Thomas in Mumbai, we would have never even allowed him on our property.
vishnu - Because "political correctness" has infected the minds of the populace. People are no longer allowed to stand up for any beliefs unless they adhere to the Liberal agenda.
Thanks for sharing this Buster. This should be disturbing to all Americans, but I can't say I'm surprised by either BO or the Catholic church establishment. This country is at the beginning of a very dark path of political correctness, loss of personal liberties and a transformation into something that would be almost unrecognizable to its original founders. I pray to God that this country can survive the next four to eight years.
The Bible was pretty clear that anyone who was ashamed of Christ on earth would, upon death, learn what it was like for Christ to be ashamed of them when they stand in front of the Father.
And since when did this become being "ashamed" of Christ? Ya'll are crazy. You are the ones who should be ashamed - taking an amazing man like Christ and turning his memory into a farcical mockery. Shame on you.
I am constantly amazed at how supposed "followers of Christ" never seem to be able to embody his teachings.
What I'm sick and tire of is "Christians" like you who constantly go around bemoaning how much you are repressed or some other such nonsense. White, Christian Americans are the most LEAST repressed and discriminated against demographic that's ever existed on the planet. Ya'll are the ones DOING the oppressing...
What about you? Sure you've probably been "repressed" - ironically it's probably been mostly by white, Christian, male Americans - further proving my point.
I doubt most people will be able to understand my points - that I'm not against Christianity specifically, I'm against religious fanaticism. There are many (probably most) Christians in America who are not fanatical (some are my friends). I still don't agree with their beliefs, but since they aren't nuts I can live with them and love them.
I'm black and I have not been "repressed" by white Christians. I'm sick of liberals like you who automatically want to make me some sort of victim to feel sorry for. I don't need you to tell me how I've been repressed.
What about fanatical atheism? There are fanatical atheists who want to make almost no public mention of God. And is it that fanatical atheists seem to speak out more about Christianity than Islam which u would THINK is much more of a threat.
If you really are a black American then you have been discriminated against, whether or not you're observant enough to realize it or not. I wasn't making you a "victim" - you do that to yourself. Individuals decide their own fate as to whether or not they are victimized - but you can still be repressed or assaulted. You read in all kinds of bs into a simple statement for the single purpose of attacking me: f-off.
No, I don't consider fanatical Islam more of a threat than fanatics like you.
you are absolutely nuts! wow! How exactly am I a fanatic? What exactly have I said that has made me a fanatic? I would like to know.
And for some reason you, who are probably white, know more about me being black and what I've gone through than my own self. You self righteous liberal.
"How exactly am I a fanatic? What exactly have I said that has made me a fanatic?"
--No evidence is necessary for Liberals. All you have to do is voice an opinion that bucks the Liberal agenda, and suddenly you're a fanatic, a Fascist, a Nazi, uneducated, ignorant, "right-wing," or a sheep. But never will you get reasonable evidence to support it.
You seem fanatical against anything but Christianity - brainwashed into the notion that Islam is evil and that all atheists want is to somehow destroy God or some such nonsense... maybe I'm reading too much into your posts, but that's what's coming across.
As for the rest - what the hell have I talked about that suggest I know anything about you specifically? I've made nothing but generalizations - very easily affirmed generalizations. Stuff this self-righteous bull up your hypocritical arse.
Retarded eh? Excuse? It's not an excuse. What is wrong with you? Nothing but straw men arguments from you people. I never said "showing an image of Jesus violates the first amendment." It depends on the context. I guess that's too hard for you to wrap your mind around.
Where did I "condemn Christianity" but not Islam? To be honest I condemn almost all religions on general principal, at the least religious fanaticism - be it Christian, Muslim, Jewish, whatever.
Ya know, for the university to cover up Jesus is horrible. They're a freaking Catholic church, but yet they will cover up their saviour's name for some dummy who thinks he is someone far greater. What wonderful catholics they are. This man that i refuse to call MY president is the same man that said there were 57 states in America.
"Under God" was added in the 1950s and goes against our original ideals of a secular government if anything that is more liable to be unconstitutional.
Christianity has been just as barbaric and violent. 'Course I'm not surprised you don't know anything of history.
Vandalizing churches? I don't remember ever doing that. "Sympathize with Islamists (sic - i assume you mean Muslims) while wanting to kill Christians?" And ya'll say I'm the one who twists words and makes things up? Where did I even insinuate that? Some of my best friends are Christians.
Showing the image doesn't violate anything, but endorsing one does and that should be avoided.
It appears Georgetown is more interested in percieved prestige than in character....Obama's speech at a Catholic University...what a slap in the face set up!
I think we need to pray for the preseident adn this country a lot!
The AntiChrist doesn't have horns and a red tail... He simply does the opposite of Jesus. He removes his name, his symbols, and goes against Christians.
Sometimes I'm embarassed to say that I'm Catholic. People, if you don't speak up now you will hand your children persection! And this goes for all Christians!!!
Notice how BHO can continually run his mouth, with confidence, when he's badmouthing the USA, condemning the USA, apologizing for the USA, badmouthing Americans, or makes a case for abortion or gun control, etc.
Notice how he's tongue-tied when he "agrees" with the SCOTUS decision to knock down the D.C. gun ban law, when he stands up for America (has he ever?), criticizes Islam in any way (has he ever?), or says anything good about America or our history.
If Obama professes to be a Christian he would not be ASHAMED of the Holy Name of Jesus. Only evil tries to blot out His Name. Only evil tries to exalt itself over the name of God Himself. Don't be alarmed, but our current el presidente reeks of the antichrist. The good news is : Jesus beat the devil with a big ugly stick and victory is ours! Go ahead, be anti-christian Mr. obama. We THRIVE under persecution! You cannot kill the Word of God. HUGE revolution is coming! Every knee shall bend...
it doesnt matter, jesus and god and what god wants is all that matters, why do people get so offended when they see a cross or jesus, because it makes there deamons go crazy, funny how god wants you to do right and love everyone like you love yourself and people hate on him for that, i just dont understand it, just because hes against the evil things people want to do, so selfish
If this was favoring Obama, it'd have 6,523,423 views. Obama is a fool for denying his maker, Georgetown are fools for allowing it. I smell an identity crisis. I've lost all respect for that lame excuse for a school.
It's not censorship, you pathetic ignoramus. He covered a religious icon during a political event. Why can't you simpletons understand the difference?
the man in this video is a very honorable man, i respect him fully. sure he may practice a different belief system but it give no one the right to bash baptist, catholic, pentecostal non denominational atheist no body if one has a prob with a person they need valid cases not simply cause of their belief system this man has a good heart and we need to watch him knowing that not cause of his practice
Just so as you know I have no problem with the man who made this video and I hope I did not give that impression to anyone. When I use Catholics and such I am referring to Georgetown university. My sister and some of my Aunts happen to be Catholic. I have not attacked any beliefs of the Catholics and I won't because I believe in freedom of religion. I give President Obama the same respect.
LOL Obama did not make any such request. I happen to know a lot about Charlie. Anyway this is pretty much a standard thing the whitehouse staff does on a regular basis.. asking to use their own backdrops and such. The Catholics should have said no and I would love to hear them explain why they didn't. Is the Catholic church really that weak? Are they the same as a Manson follower? Is that what you just compared them to? I just want to make sure I get where you are coming from.
no lol you said obama didnt do it he just requested it, circular reasoning hun. i agree the church should of said no but!!!!! the coin has two sides obama should of never requested it, being a Christian to speak . i can use that accuse for anything, "he just requested it" !!! that statement is very vague and universal that was my point
Actually it is my understanding that it was a request made by some of the whitehouse staff not Obama himself. All he was asked was what style of backdrop do you want.. he said traditional and they went with it from there. He did not ever say... TAKE DOWN THAT JESUS SYMBOL..
My friends, would you like for me to produce a very well made, insightful, & educational video on the matters of separation of church and state? This will take a good chunk out of my precious time, not to mention the few neurons I have left.
If I get at least 5 thumbs up on this comment, I will. If not, continue to live in your ignorance.
For the record... the only reason this was asked to be covered was because they (White House) did not want to create a conflict with the Presidential colors of the American Flags in the background. Their were several other IHS symbols in the room and other religious symbols in the room that were not covered.
Only the IHS symbol immdeiately behind the
Presidential rostrum was covered. This is just another made up controversy by the Repubs... However, I did find your presentation entertaining...
The other IHS symbols in the hall would not have been noticeable behind President Obama while making his speech. To have that symbol in the background while speaking had to be removed as not to associate Christianity with Obama. My main complaint here is not with President Obama, but with the Judases at that Catholic school, Georgetown University. They are the real bums here.
You are missing the point: he did not want to be photographed speaking with Jesus (IHS) over his shoulder. The other symbols in the hall were not prominent over his shoulder while he was speaking. The conservative media did not mention that the other symbols were not asked to be covered because once again, those symbols were not prominent while he was speaking.
This is exactly the point that ya'll can't seem to grasp. Obama is a Christian, but he understands the importance of not associating a political office with a religious affiliation. That is the very simple and honest reason why it was covered.
What should really offend Christians is that the Catholics were willing to remove it. It is my understanding that there were many other symbols of the same nature in the room. I think you people are reading to much into all of this and once again you are trying to make an issue out of a non issue.
Give me one good reason why you think Obama is the next Hitler. What has he done that would make you make such a horrible comparison? Do you even know anything about Hitler.. or is this just the newest most popular thing to say? ITS A TRIANGLE... period.. there is such a thing you know as a triangle try not to get so paranoid.
I am beyond offended that Georgetown complied, that Notre Dame sees fit to give The Bama an honorary degree, that people in my Greek Orthodox church have no problem with Obama's radical pro-abortion voting record and his liberal support of embryonic stem cell research, that anyone who disagrees with Obama is automatically labelled a teabagging redneck regardless of their legitimate gripes against his policies and his administration. I can go on and on but I think you get the point. Go Tony!!!
So glad that I am a Buddhist and I love America. Look at the big picture...not just a splatter of paint. People remove their shoes in a temle or mosque or even in private homes for respect and also to not dirty the floor for those who sit on it or kneel on it or ploce their forehead on it. It is respect for the worshippers -- just common politeness.
How dare the White House and Obama make this request, now your talking about arrogance. We are one nation under God, I'm sure there is lots of voters remorse growing. Who ever heard in his campaign speeches tha the would have the symbol of Jesus Christ be blacked out. He's an outright disgrace and probably the antichrist-very dark and scary times!
When the president speaks he is speaking to all Americans and he should not do so under the umbrella of any religion. I think that was his point. However he should have chosen a different place. What is really absurd is the willingness of Georgetown university to remove it upon request.
"When the president speaks he is speaking to all Americans and he should not do so under the umbrella of any religion."
Also, when the president is overseas, he is representing all Americans. Why then did he bow to a slave owning Muslim (religion) monarch (anti-democracy)? Watch my video and let me know where you're wrong and I'm right.
I think he bowed because he was being polite and using what he thought were good manners. If he were Muslim I would not have a problem with it anyway even though I personally do not think that he is. I happen to think Pentecostals are a bit odd and Mormons too.. not to mention Catholics and all the strange statues and crap... I would not have a problem with any of them being president either.
I think he (Obama) bowed because he was being polite and using what he thought were good manners.
I think you're being polite on the matter. If what you say is true, why didn't he do the same with Queen Elizabeth? I'm sorry, but your explanation doesn't hold water. As an American president, he should not have bowed down to anyone, especially to a monarch. Check out my Obama video. It's informative and funny.
I read in a book last night that in the past it has not been uncommon for the Saudis to actually lower their hand at the last moment making it appear as though the person shaking their hand is bowing to them. They then use the photos to control the masses. Saddam was famous for doing this. The book from 2003: Saddam The Face Of Evil by Mark Cantrell & Donald Vaughan. Perhaps Bush knew of this trick and chose to avoid the handshake all together by kissing and holding hands instead. Will do.
Georgetown as a Catholic University, ND and Fr Jenkins. Especially...It doesn't even phase him all the stink that is being brought forward and all the Bishops that are warning him. Makes you wonder how far this is going to go.
It makes me so sick and so sad...and yet even going this far I'm sure the Christians and Catholic who voted this idiot into office aren't worried or ashamed of themselves. They basically have done the same thing you mentioned...They've surrendered their Messiah in hopes for "Change" which is a joke.
What concerns me and has me curious is when the higher up's are going to come in and start stripping people of their titles.
3- "if it was just tradition, they wouldn't have volunteered to do so, idiot"
*facepalm*
Ok, follow me here for a second: the forefathers what to make a country with freedom of choice, speech, religion as its basis because back where they came from was an oppressive religious regime. Am i correct? Good. They already have old traditions that wouldn't seem to hurt anything, so they have the RIGHT to VOLUNTEER for them FREELY, correct? Good. Now why am I the idiot between the two of us?
-I'm not trying to discredit the US, history is and will always remain history. I frown when people TODAY start misusing and twisting facts (commonly called spin) to rally people to their causes. Easiest example is FOX news. The rest of the planet uses FOX and cuban TV as a reference to how NOT to report news correctly.
-Ask anyone with a historical degree, the jesus myth is a mash-up of other dieties
Does a symbol have freedom of speech? Cross or swastika, do they both equate? No, it's a symbol, nothing else.Sure they both have a meaning, to some people more than to others.
After Obama's speech, all returned to normal. Or did it? Again as with each instances involving real societal advances and true freedom in history: emotion, irrationality, superstition and belief without proof yelled against rationality, science, evidence and ultimately; truth.
wait, what? when did i ever "demand" that religious references be covered? This is called "lying". Hardly an argument.
You know, the more ad hominems, non sequiturs and blabberings about "freedom this and that" without ever allowing others this same freedom who want for yourself, the more you prove your dishonesty. And nobody likes dishonest people.
Ironic that free-speech, separation of state and altar Liberals are trivializing this affront. Obama goes out of his way to bow to the House of Saud and takes off his shoes in a Mosque yet covers up a symbol for Jesus in a Catholic Institution is simply inexcusable, profoundly arrogant and terribly egregious.
If a Jesuit or Opus Dei Priest request a large Crucifix to be raised in a public govn't building for a speech, would you oppose this?
Hahaha you guys are freaking out over some trivial shit like religious thing instead of focusing over more important things like warrantless wiretapping or extraordinary rendition.
Pandonodrim, Obama is a GUEST SPEAKER at this Catholic Church. If you go to another country AS A GUEST, you do not ask them to cover up all of their religious, political, etc. stuff. That university is THEIR home not Obama's. He should have just sucked it up and dealt with it. It would not have meant he was promoting the Catholic religion in any way. It would have meant he RESPECTED them. But oh well...
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
"What influence, in fact, have ecclesiastical establishments had on society? In some instances they have been seen to erect a spiritual tyranny on the ruins of the civil authority; on many instances they have been seen upholding the thrones of political tyranny; in no instance have they been the guardians of the liberties of the people. ...A just government, instituted to secure and perpetuate it, needs them (clergy) not." - James Madison
"God you people disgust me. The worst part is that none of you morons even understand Christ."
--Wow. And you're the only one who does?
Aside from that, please answer this for me: How does "understanding Christ" and covering up His imagery at a Catholic university go together? I would like to understand.
You're really going to sit there and tell me that the importance of a word, a carved image, an idol if you will, is more important than truly trying to understand and live by the teachings of Christ? Like all religious fanatics ya'll miss the forest for the trees, and you only care or give a crap about your own petty belief structure.
The idea of it perhaps being important for the president to not be seen endorsing HIS OWN RELIGION is meaningless to you.
"more important than truly trying to understand and live by the teachings of Christ?"
--Part of that is not covering up your religious convictions, so if he wasn't a Christian in name only (because he "practices" Black Liberation Theology, not Christianity) he wouldn't be trying to distance himself from such "idols."
"He didn't make them remove it, he didn't destroy it, he simply had it covered for when he was speaking."
It's still disrespect. I don't think you get it so try this one for size.
He didn't hide his girlfriend from public, he didn't get rid of her, he simply covered her face with a paper bag when he was seen out in public with her.
Let me know if you're a girl treated like that you would be ok with it. Again, it's called disrespect.
"I can't even dignify this moronic post with a response."
One, you just did. Two, it sure does hurt like hell when you get hit between the eyes. Three, not only was my analogy freakin witty, but damn sure accurate.
Here's a little suggestion: Go mess with the right wing drones here. You have half a chance to feed your superiority complex with your propagandas.
Mess with the likes of me, and all you're reduced to is using ad hominem replies.
You're funny. Another moron who sees Muslims everywhere... so much that you're calling me one.
And even worse, that you equate all Muslims with Islamic fanatics. That's as bad as comparing intelligent Christians with the likes of... well, yourself.
The antichrist will exalt himself above every god and confess himself to be god in the temple of god

Failure to properly and fully state the oath of office in PUBLIC.
Placement of Sotomayor on the Supreme Court, giving the RCC the unimpeachable swing vote on any important issue.
Placement of a RCC prelate as ambassador to the holy see (in violation of Law regarding seperation of Church and State).
Giving the FED (Roman Money Cartel) more control over their opponents within the US.
Failure to repeal the new Nazi/Jesuit enabling acts.
Ooopsie.

Far more important was the fact that the IHS Jesuit symbology was hidden during the talk.

It was a joke.

As the term 'Propaganda' was born of the Roman church, we can dispense with any contention that anything this individual has to say is valid.
IHS does not stand for Jesus, it is the Jesuit credo In This Name Conquer...which the Jesuit read as 'subvert by any means possible'.
Obama does not wish to be directly shown to be in the employ of Rome, but he is. Just another sheep-dipped stooge.

You are so ridiculous.

loveangelc 2 years ago
What about you? Sure you've probably been "repressed" - ironically it's probably been mostly by white, Christian, male Americans - further proving my point.
I doubt most people will be able to understand my points - that I'm not against Christianity specifically, I'm against religious fanaticism. There are many (probably most) Christians in America who are not fanatical (some are my friends). I still don't agree with their beliefs, but since they aren't nuts I can live with them and love them.
Pandonodrim 2 years ago
I'm black and I have not been "repressed" by white Christians. I'm sick of liberals like you who automatically want to make me some sort of victim to feel sorry for. I don't need you to tell me how I've been repressed.
What about fanatical atheism? There are fanatical atheists who want to make almost no public mention of God. And is it that fanatical atheists seem to speak out more about Christianity than Islam which u would THINK is much more of a threat.
loveangelc 2 years ago 2
If you really are a black American then you have been discriminated against, whether or not you're observant enough to realize it or not. I wasn't making you a "victim" - you do that to yourself. Individuals decide their own fate as to whether or not they are victimized - but you can still be repressed or assaulted. You read in all kinds of bs into a simple statement for the single purpose of attacking me: f-off.
No, I don't consider fanatical Islam more of a threat than fanatics like you.
Pandonodrim 2 years ago
you are absolutely nuts! wow! How exactly am I a fanatic? What exactly have I said that has made me a fanatic? I would like to know.
And for some reason you, who are probably white, know more about me being black and what I've gone through than my own self. You self righteous liberal.
loveangelc 2 years ago
"How exactly am I a fanatic? What exactly have I said that has made me a fanatic?"

LOL Obama did not make any such request. I happen to know a lot about Charlie. donjuan1demarco 2 years ago

However, I did find your presentation entertaining...
bblade007 2 years ago
For the record: Your excuse is another made up story to cover for heathens in The White House.
The gold lettering of IHS blends in with the gold eagles atop the nine USA flags on the stage along with the gold fringe on the same flags.
The presidential seal is also encircled in a gold colored band.
Care to hallucinate another excuse?

O.K. I'm game. Let's hear your story...
If what you believe about why the IHS symbol was covered is true...
Why were the other IHS symbols in the room not covered???
bblade007 2 years ago
The other IHS symbols in the hall would not have been noticeable behind President Obama while making his speech. To have that symbol in the background while speaking had to be removed as not to associate Christianity with Obama. My main complaint here is not with President Obama, but with the Judases at that Catholic school, Georgetown University. They are the real bums here.
PropagandaBuster 2 years ago
But don't you believe that Obama would have been offended by having to speak in a hall
where Christian symbols were on display
and would have wanted all Christian symbols
in that hall to be covered and not just the
IHS behind him???...
And why do you think that the conservative media never made the point that there were
other IHS symbols in the room that were not
asked to be covered???
bblade007 2 years ago
You are missing the point: he did not want to be photographed speaking with Jesus (IHS) over his shoulder. The other symbols in the hall were not prominent over his shoulder while he was speaking. The conservative media did not mention that the other symbols were not asked to be covered because once again, those symbols were not prominent while he was speaking.
PropagandaBuster 2 years ago
This is exactly the point that ya'll can't seem to grasp. Obama is a Christian, but he understands the importance of not associating a political office with a religious affiliation. That is the very simple and honest reason why it was covered.

Will do.

Hahaha you guys are freaking out over some trivial shit like religious thing instead of focusing over more important things like warrantless wiretapping or extraordinary rendition.
Yep you guys are real conservatives.

But oh well...

kire, you scoundrel. That was an excellent point. Can I buy you a drink?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
"What influence, in fact, have ecclesiastical establishments had on society? In some instances they have been seen to erect a spiritual tyranny on the ruins of the civil authority; on many instances they have been seen upholding the thrones of political tyranny; in no instance have they been the guardians of the liberties of the people. ...A just government, instituted to secure and perpetuate it, needs them (clergy) not." - James Madison

Wow, lots of haters on James Madison... pathetic.

He didn't make them remove it, he didn't destroy it, he simply had it covered for when he was speaking.
God you people disgust me. The worst part is that none of you morons even understand Christ.

"God you people disgust me. The worst part is that none of you morons even understand Christ."
--Wow. And you're the only one who does?
Aside from that, please answer this for me: How does "understanding Christ" and covering up His imagery at a Catholic university go together? I would like to understand.
NoGuff 2 years ago
Exactly - you really don't get it.
Pandonodrim 2 years ago
"a carved image, an idol if you will"
--Thank you, Ayatolla Pandonodrim.

I can't even dignify this moronic post with a response. It's a new low of ignorant stupidity that even I thought you couldn't stoop to.

Huh?
I can't even discern a credible statement, much less any sort of coherent argument here. Just more shameless and ridiculous boasting and lam-basting.
Pathetic.

"I can't even discern a credible statement, much less any sort of coherent argument here."
That's because logic escapes you when it's convenient.
"Huh?"
That was logic tapping u on the shoulder.
"Pathetic."
Nice way to sign off your comment w/ your business card.

More straw-man arguments. Again, pathetic (the term is just so applicable to you).
Still no coherent argument, point, or message from you. Just more pointless blabbering.
Either make a point or stop replying.
But first look up "straw-man argument" and if your response is one, don't bother posting it.

Bah bah...pathetic...bah bah. That annoys you, doesn't it?
Your hypocrisy & your disregard to logic amuses me. Funny, I was waiting for a coherent reply from you. I'm a patient man. I'll wait.

Tony, am I right here, or what?

You're funny. Another moron who sees Muslims everywhere... so much that you're calling me one.
And even worse, that you equate all Muslims with Islamic fanatics. That's as bad as comparing intelligent Christians with the likes of... well, yourself.
Again, pathetic.
Pandonodrim 2 years ago
"sees Muslims everywhere"
--Where do you get that from?
"you're calling me one"
--No, you're sounding like a fanatical one along the lines of Khomeni.
"you equate all Muslims with Islamic fanatics"
--Where do you get that from? Do you like making things up?

When will you (like all neo-con nut jobs) learn that just stating something doesn't make it a fact, or true?
