Our Cumman erected a monument in memory of these 3 volunteers in a local estate less that a mile from which the bomb exploded! We couldnt erect anything at the roadside itself because it is a loyalist area and it would be defaced or damaged!

Our local ógra cumann is named after Dermott Crowley because he was a young lad that came hundreds of miles from his home with his best friend Vol. Tony Ahern to take on the fight againts the British Empire!
