1977 I remember playing this at school and people thought I had lost my mind. They were completely baffled by the sophistication and new direction. Everybody was listening to Boston , Kiss, Kenny Rogers, The gambler LOL. Stevie Wonder was huge Ted Nugent, Van Halen, ELO, The Stones, Chicago, The Eagles BORING ! I was trying to turn my friends on to The Cramps YEA ! The Crusher ! Tav Falco and the Pantherburns .w/ Alex Chilton, The Gun Club and Talking Heads of course
Tina Weymouth playing an old Hofner Club bass.Havn't seen anyone with those since seeing Phil "Fang" Volk,of the Raiders from the mid-sixties. with one. They go for around $2,500 now.Cool clip.
When the song "Take me to the River" came out, I bought the album, "More songs about buildings and food", not knowing what I was getting myself into. I ended up loving more than just that song, and wore the album out! What treat it is, 30 years later, to actually see them performing my favorite songs from that LP! I can't get over how well they sound live! THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!

I definitely like their earlier stuff a little more. As the 80s went on things got a little too spacey and trippy for me.

I'm so glad to see that others are showing love for this great band. Growing up, I always felt like an army of one iny my undying love for the Heads.
