@Erugolr there's a great guitar tab for this version on ultimate guitar, if you search for new dawn fades on it look at the guitar pro entry under 'John Frusciante' since this is more like John's version than JD's. Need guitar pro software for that but i think theres a regular tab on there if need be, although I don't know how good it is.

awesome cover mate, learnt most of it by watching your vid :) ....the only bit thats annoying me is muting the low e with your pinky on the d note of the main riff  grr :| ...any ideas?

Try to pick from the A string, instead of strumming all the strings. Or, you could try to push your pinky against the low E string a little. If you try to combine both, I think it'll sound great :)
