The military really needs to implement a new infantry weapon. The M16 Dominates in accuracy, but it jams if you get a little mud in it.

@ThatHaloGuy117 They did, it's called the XM8. However, it's not economical to switch over the entire force to the weapon. Just ask congress who denied the funding requested to do the necessary testing for the potential fielding to replace it back in 2004. As with all things there were pros and cons to the new design.

@soldierboyz22 These 'kids,' as you say, are commissioned Officers in the US Army and no one is 'fuckin' around since this was training... Any idiot can see that no individual is a marine since the marine uniform is a digital pattern unlike the BDU style. This only validates that you are either not very attentive or you lack the comprehension needed to pick up on details. i.e. army (a tag by the way), not a community pool, military academy, etc...

I respect that your family comes from a long line of military tradition, my family is the same way. BDU uniforms have been used by all military branches up untill the mid 2000s, so that just makes me assume that you have not been reading up on the military.

The reason he has the rifle over the water isnt because the M-16 wont work if its wet its because it wouldnt be a challenge if he could simply swim with it thus why its the CWST not the jump in a pool wiht a rifle test

They do remedial training if you fail but pretty much you should know the basics. I trained people on my free time how to increase strength, confidence, and endurance. Most people have trouble with the 10 minute treading water.

Use a HK416, a XM8, a SCAR, a REC/M468, a ACR Bushmaster/Magpul Masada and u dont have to take care in anything.

you do realize that if we treat these new guns as if they are ultra reliable then it will be very Vietnam war era of us:M16 jam well they did not get the heads up those things arent invincible,and so no cleaning= jamming

Yeah we had to do water survival in gym class. They had to make sure everyone would be okay for our white water rafting field trip, and we ahd to tread water for 30 minutes then do like 5 minutes with our hands above the water then we ahd to inflate our cloths as life vest.

done this b4 lol one of the guys in r detachment is a show off and did it wiv webbing wepon and bergan wich is about 70lb of kit in him + a 10 riffle .....yeah he drowned and was resusetated spent a a few days in hospital..it shut him up tho lol
