The problem with torture is that someone can and will tell you anything to make you stop. Furthermore, if someone is caught because they are a suspected terrorist, we could very well be wrong. Our intelligence can be wrong on occasion. When someone is suspected of committing a crime, we put them on trial. He basically said that torture was used. Water boarding is very painful. The President keeps playing that card to justify torture as a way of saving or families from harm. There are many other ways to get someone to talk, but not by water boarding. Believe me, a few punches to the gut is one thing, water boarding is another. These terrorists deserve to be locked up forever, but not tortured, at least not by water boarding.
