  • Just recently saw the movie. The director undertook a tremendous task to depict life in Colombia, its cultural beliefs and indomitable characters. The theme was full of fervor, love and intrigue, the virginity factor was a commendable point of referential dogmatic indoctrination. Well done, one of the best I have seen in a long time. The city of Cartagena, still a magnifecent colonial Spanish port, very real.

  • Can anybody tell me how the song that is played in the church when Florentino first wants to give Fermina a letter is called?(When they sit in a queue)It is a spanish song. Thanks;)

  • he loved her all his life

  • i've read the book 3 years ago never thought that they gonna make a movie off from it! lols love the book! hmm i wonder hows the movie

  • I think this trailer is beautiful but I will not see the movie because the book is one of the most beautiful things I have ever read, cover to cover, and I don't want to spoil it- this novel is too precious!

  • does anyone know the name of the song at 1:09?

  • the song that played at the end of the trailer is from the movie great expectations.

from the soundtrack listing its called "kissing in the rain. hope this helps!

  • i saw this movie recently and i was amazed not just by the comedy within the story but by the intensity of his love that spanned over 5 decades. well that and the 622 women he humped in between. lol.

  • This movie was sad. She didn't even fight for their 'love' and what guy stays a virgin after screwing 622 (married/prostitute) women?! Is the book really like this? Fermina just goes with whatever suits the moment, but she is strong nonetheless when she asks her husband who he's cheating on her with. I liked the aunt who said to just say yes to love, or you'll regret it for the rest of your life. That is so true.

  • @onebitch you need to read the book its not so similar,

then you will understand the story line. and the purpose of this

    book

  • this movie was wild.........all he did was hit other women...lol

  • what is the music playing at the end of this trailer?

  • does anybody know the violin piece that was played by florentino during the courtyard scene in the movie?

  • Vals de la diosa coronada, innit? According to my book..

  • Schubert Serenade, look it up all over YouTube. Completely unattributed by the movie producers

  • Great deal of a movie!

  • I SO!! WANNA WATCH THIS MOVIE! mssg me bck if you wen it comes out :] pliz

  • to desparately love like this for many years is a happyness compared to living in a country like africa.

as we have over come the hunger, after that we want love..when hunger becomes no longer a sadness, but love is. after you win love you need money and so on..but most people dont ask for more than what they call love.
