  • love the drummer at 1:55

  • I was originally really pissed off with Graham Nash for splitting from the Hollies, but it didn't take very long to forgive him, when I realised the contribution he was about to make with CSNY !!

  • Awesome...

  • Very talented as performers and composers. I remember walking into a lounge at the Holiday Inn in Cheektowaga, New York in 1972 to listen to my brother's band - The Better Way. Sitting at a table listening were the Hollies. My brother sat with them during breaks. The girl singer, Francine, gave one of the Hollies his first ride in a Corvette after the show was over. I was just in awe at being so close to the Hollies.

  • It´s impossible to dislike this music... Great video! Brazilian people loves Hollies!

  • @silviao2011 I agree this is Great Music...!

  • Wow. watch Bob Elliot on the drums. I didn't think pop had great drummers in 67.

  • @HVYMETL

YYYESSS, man - did you watch the drummer of the SEARCHERS ?

flash down a whisky first ...

  • I watch nothin' but NYRainbow!

  • Aaaaah...just as music SHOULD be!

  • Great Tune of the Mid 60's ! Love it ! Thank you for posting.

    Big Thumbs Up !!!

  • The Hollies had the greatest drummer in Bobby Elliott. Not only a great drummer but it you ever see him in any of their performances, he looks as if he is just having a lot of fun. This is the most underrated pop band in history and their induction in the RRHOF was long overdue.

  • Great Song loveit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ....Under my umbrella!

  • Sounds better here than on the record. Fantastic. But i would prefer more boy bands with mindless danicing and crap melodies or maybe a little rap over the chorus............ and then i will shoot myself........

  • a lyrical masterpiece.. great tune too..

  • Terrific.

  • i love this!

  • The Best Group

  • so nice to recall the past w/ ds beautiful song...

  • Damn, I wish I had seen this first hand......

  • this song always reminds me of my nan and granddad because they meet at a bus stop :)

  • British Rock from 1960 (1966-1967 too) is so good, they take the rock n roll, the soul,The R&B,The Blues and etc

  • I keep watching this I'm hooked... I was a little girl when this was out but I love this now more than when it came out. I have a real appreciation for these guys.

  • @beatlespaz You want a thick base line.. go check out their live performance of Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress /watch?v=lP94PlEtsEQ

  • @beatlespaz

No shit! It is awesome! I usually notice all the nice things like that, but untill I saw your comment I never really paid attention to this song ('cept the drums), though I heard it millions of times. :-)))

  • They were one of the very best bands around, I loved them, kinda wish i had a Tardis to take me back in that time and naturally we would be very young again..Oh well, I can dream cant I ? ;) just to add thankyou nyrainbow4 for this great video :)

  • Thank you for your videos...they are the best! I look for "nyrainbow4" before I click on it because I know it will be the best!

  • this song just sounds so great!

  • The Hollies were named after the late great Buddy Holly

  • One of the most under appreciated bands of the 60's will get there due this March 2010 at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

  • It's long overdue! The Hollies were a great band

  • Why Nash have left the band anyway?

In My opinion his voice was better in the band.

  • Nash left because he wanted to Expand his music in another direction and hence you had born Crosby, Stills and Nash in 1968. Nash also is a multiple inductee into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame!

  • Even though Nash left the band it didn't stop the Hollies from having more hits... you name them ...

  • True they had five US top forty singles after Nash left.

He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother

Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress

    Long Dark Road

    The Air That I Breathe

Stop In The Name of Love

  • Cool ... you just WON a Hollies invisible Tee shirt, never needs washing never needs ironing. :)

  • Awsome band, happy to know they are finally where they belong...The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...

  • They were a GREAT band; always a little too pop for some tastes, but stuck around a long long time on sheer talent and creativity. Loved 'em then, love 'em now.

  • underestimated this band way back--they kick ass!

  • Awesomely good 60s pop song!

  • Interesting - dual lead guitars from Hicks and Nash in the break.
