Very little footage has survived of Boris Malenko (Dean's Dad). This is due largely to the then-common practice of the old affiliates destroying or "bulk-erasing" old wrestling tapes after they had shown them once. That's why YouTube and WWE On Demand have so little footage from before 1980. The only ones that have it are fans who had old reel tapes or Betamax tapes from the old days that they have uploaded to YouTube.

@elc1960 Thats's a shame. I would love to see some more footage of Boris Malenko because so many respected wrestlers have mentioned him. Terry Funk called him the best talker ever in his book. Thanks for the info.
