Had my 9th "Day of the Child" Dance Contest for 1000 foster children. This year, three American Bandstand dancers: Linda Gonzales, James E. Rodriguez & Laura Rosenson Saray joined to help the kids.....and actress Kerstin John, Rose Macado and Nicole Weiss.......great group of "big hearts and dancing" for the kids. 1000 foster children come to the "Day of the Child" event every year. Each one is a "winner" - all they have to do is "shake their booty"......We always need mentors for the day and prizes........It will be a heartfelt day seeing these children feel alive through the "joy of dancing".
