There's actually a cave with some magic (I think Quake) in a chest, 6 bats and 3 scorpions inside the pit.
I didn't go down there because it's annoying to try platforming back up because you have to kill the annoying bats to get the paltforms to appear and then the platfroms move so quickly that you need to be an Italian plumber to get back up.
What if you get the questions wrong?

If I recall correctly you get sent out of the pyramid and have to work your way to the Sphinx all over again.

Theres a chest in there and I cant figure out how to get it. Its in a little enclosed area with a door next to it.
