  • No one like John Lord,Ritchie Blackmore and Ian Paice!

  • Imagine if he'd had a pipe organ here

  • Ritchie Blackmore is an idol for many guitars!!

  • Cool Just Coooool...

  • наши иностранные друзья весьма интилигентны, а я по-русски скажу- ЗАЕБАТЕЛЬСКИ ЛАБАЮТ!!!....КРА-САФ-ЦЫЫЫ!!!

  • 2 GENiUSES!!!

  • the Master Lord!

  • Ritiche is the only one who can play this song,

  • Блять, они охуительны!!!!

  • Only Jon the wizard and Ritchie The Warlock could do that

  • Jon Lord, the best.

  • Jon Lord looks like Revolver Ocelot. Nuff said.

  • It's the greatest I ever seen from Lord - and I am 51 years old now, have a lot from him on DVD, play myself Organ since 1971. I am a real and great fan of him.

  • So much better than the new stuff now. This is classic and excellent talent.

  • 2:58 JOHN IS THAT GOOD THAT HE CAN CHECK WHAT IS THE TIME AND PLAY LIKE GODAM MOZART

  • Incrível viagem, uma das melhores do mundo.

  • who dares to say it's shit?!!It's a masterpiece...or masterpaice...:)

  • best rock band of all time

  • what is the small box , in the guitar of ritchie , can someone tell me?

  • @russia199999999

It's an octavizer. It adds a note one octave below the note played. It's hard to hear in this version, but if you check out the original studio version, it is much more obvious in the intro.

  • considering how the band was falling apart at the time, the music is of a surprisingly high quality

  • @shearn666 for me it's even better than in 70's lol

  • @TheWeirdy93 yeah, I can understand why you would say that - certainly the quality of the sound/visuals are better...lol. Although for me that classic 1971/2 footage from Stockholm (at start of Machine Head tour) is the best...

  • yes john the best.

  • They Paved the Way for other Neoclassical Bands that Jam Today!

Huge influences! "The Core of Neoclassical Rock" The Standard"

  • Like some would say : "This is the shit" One of the inmortal rock moments of all history

  • what did he say after he played Fur Elise?

  • LOL I love how Lord checks his watch at 3:00.

  • The best rock band of all the times ! no doubt ! ...They did not have comparison with no other band...never

  • Jon Lord and Ritchie Blackmore... Immortal legends!

  • @Filip983 what about paice the sorcerer?

  • The song called "Difficult to Cure" from selftitled album.

    Originaly from Rittcie Blackmores Rainbow.

And its cover from Beethovens Ninth.

  • yeah and Beethovens ninth is called "Ode to joy"..just enjoy

  • Come Hell Or High Water is a concert video so good it shoulda been theatrically released. I think it's even better then The Last Waltz.

  • ...Lord is a good "rock" caliber keyboardist.

He's no Emerson, to be sure-but for a one-handed-wonder type keyboardist, he's pretty good...

  • he is incredible :D damn it's fun to watch ! I especially liked the boogie blues part haha so good

  • A wonderful little diddy. Just spendid !!

  • Awesome. Once at a DP concert I thought Jon Lord was gonna dump that organ of f the stage onto me.... what a way to go.

  • again.

  • THE GRAND DEEP PURPLE

  • Magic

  • it s rainbow song !!! no ?

  • Exactly. Rainbow, you can find this on 'Difficult To Cure'.

  • Great interaction between Hammond and Choir/ Vocoder of Jon Lord

  • master of masters...... i love this song

  • nice bass and organ solo...

  • LONG LIVE ROCK N ROLL. Blackmore paise, lord and glover are the ingredient of good music.

  • There are no words to characterize blackmore and lord ... they are flawless ... they were created to create music ... esspeccially blackmore .. long live rnr

  • John Lord , an amazing keyboard player who had "classical education" in music, yet he was creative enough to be an example for many rock keyboard players to come.

That unique rhythmic playing style , and the distorted Hammond organ sound, are even nowadays imitated and admired by many.

  • OMFG 8:10

    thats fucking awesome =D

    im high!!

  • Oh... i thought he asked about lord`s solo =)

  • This is 9-th Bethoven's Simphony,guys.Joy's Ode

  • PEEEERFECT!!!! PURPLEEEEEEE!! :P

  • **рЕСПЕКт**

  • which song, 2:55 ??? i can't find it anywhere!?

  • this is the end of Pictures of home, and after 3:23 it's improvisation

  • It's beethoven....100% but i can't remember what song...fuck!!!..:S

  • Fur Elise ?? =P

  • TThis 9-th Bethoven Simphony.The theme is Joy's Ode.

  • Ode Of Joy... Joy is happy!

  • Ode to Joy

  • Now I realized what was the point of your comment... The 'to', at first I got confused, LOL! How did I made that mistake! LOL!

  • They played this in San Diego on the Perfect Strangers tour, and was absolutely inspiring.

  • true man

  • Blackmore is one of the greatest on stage but an asshole off it but who cares

  • to be so talented is difficult to cure! \\m//

  • MY LORD!!!!!!

  • the best!!!

  • que hijo de puta xD

no puede ser tan capo Jon Lord, es una maquina!!

  • Greatest Jam to Ode to Joy ever.

  • Jon Lord, just the best!!!

  • Lord is god of Hammond organ....

  • I don't konw why they call it "Beethoven" when Ritchie played it in Purple, should be "Difficult To cure", is it?

  • jon lord and ritchie blackmore - the greatest combination in the rock n roll history!

  • it was a fantastic thing for Deep Purple to get all those classical inspirations in the 80s. of course it came from Blackmore and his Rainbow days

  • jon is the beast of the beast!!!! w DEEP PURPLE

  • how does blackmore get up in so high notes with no slide, his strat dont have like 25 frets...

  • This is called greatness...

  • only the master knows

  • i think he uses the natural harmonics found in between the pickups. try nd youll find them there. BLACKMORE is the master

  • do you say at 2:50?

it is playing the 1st string with capsules (receptors)...i think :D

excuse my bad english, i talk spanish......and i'm guitar player

  • Lord is the lord himself at the organ..just fantastic!

  • Lord is God !

  • nah, lord is not god, he is the LORD OF KEYBOARD SOLO'S!!!!(and god at the same time! hehe)

    Hmmm...What a baboon I am

    asshole

  • yeah this is REALLY difficult to cure...

  • Is he John Lord? :D

  • Remove the "h"

  • the name of the song is maple leaf rag by scott joplin

  • The song is from an american movie from early 80.s or late 70,s about a scam. Sorry i don,t remember the name of the movie but it,s the theme melody from that one, it,s a classic we saw it in school when i was a young boy - like 15 years ago so, a big part of the whole movie is on trains...hehe

  • Its maple leaf rag, though the theme tune from the film "the sting" you refer to is a different one called "the entertainer" also by scott joplin

  • This piece is based on Beethovens 9th Symphony in D Major.

    It's not a song

and it's not Scott Joplin either

  • Sorry, Scott Joplin comes in later

  • Ok i think it,s like this:

    ----jons Solo----

Medley from emerson lake and palmer.

    Boogie

    fur Elise

    maple leaf rag

Eine kleine nacht music + improvisin pieces

  • Yes, this is the song! Thank you so much

  • Does anybody know name of the song, which Jon plays around 08:10?

  • Should be "Root beer Rag" from Billy Joel from his LP Street Live Serenade"

  • Absolutly fabulous! An exemple for young "musicians"

  • bought the dvd for £6 from hmv best money spent in ages amasing to watch !

  • Mr Lord-always,anytime,everywhere!

  • John Lord the best!:D It was interesting Ritchie and Ian didn't kill each other!XD

  • Lord is the lord.

  • Once again Blackmore+Jon Lord+Ian Paice+Ian Gillan and Roger Glover are simply Deep Purple and they are simply the best.

  • Deep Purple = Deep Purple. (Don't forget Glover and Gillan.

  • No Comments those... two legendary player Blackmore and Jon Lord are simply the best in the Heavy Metal and Rock World.

  • Deep Purple is not heavy metal!

  • Actually they were one of the groups to start heavy metal, along with Black Sabbath and Led Zepplin.
