@TrionJuggernaut Well, starting with the fact that they are nearly 40 years old, they also have created numerous motors for racing using honda technology (including V8s and V10s), started on a 1200cc civic, and started producing street cars with honda in the mid 80s. but you're right, they only use a motor from the last decade.

@transilvanianson hell yeah. shit man just mod the stock f20c or f22c is its a AP2(2nd gen). not many things you can do to add power to an s2k without boost they alreayd have 120hp per liter highest N/A in the world lol but only use quality parts. even stock you can race it. i know a guy who swapped in a k24/k20 and it was hella fast. but f20c is a amazing engine man just get a good CAI,Header,Exhaust set up take out p/s and spare tire and jack when racing.

@transilvanianson oh yeah man anytime. if you cant afford a S2k look into a integra or a civic hatch and B16a or B18c swap it its a direct swap civics and integras have the same chassis 94-01 integra = 92-95 civic ANYthing works even dash and interior civics in japan had good ol B series engines. i love my DC2 integra. i woulr recoment the B18C even if its a GSR because there is no replacments for displacment lol that extra bit really helps with torque b16 has shorter gearing with the trans tho

@transilvanianson yeah i agree man, EF civics are the same chassis as a 90-93 integra and CRX. they are light too. a B18C1 or C5 with bolt ons and decent tires wil take many stock LS1 camaros and all types of domestic cars lmao my GSR takes alot...and a civic hatch weights about 400 lbs less lol

@transilvanianson just besure you know what your doing do lots of reserch,get your torque specs correct and make sure you tighten bolts in the correct sequence, i would recoment replacing head studs and rod bolts with ARPs,all engine bearings with ACL, and use good OEM honda parts like water pump and shit, Gates makes good timing belts, you can always buy a cheap engine just to rip apart and check out and throw back together and see if it works lol if you buy a JDM engine just run that.
@transilvanianson or run it atleast untill you wanna upgrade and build it for real with Cams, and a whole aftermarket valvetrain revving to 9,000RPM lol i love it. thats my next step, building my Head first with a ITR bottom end then in a year or so im building a 92 or 95mm stroked b18c bottom end for my head, keeping it All-Motor hoping to see 260whp and mid 12 second 1/4th mile times with slicks but its a roadrace car,with street benifits. lol

In 2006 I had a Spoon B18C engine put in my EK9 and in time attack competition at BRC I beat Porsche GT2, Evo 5 300whp and a lot of other modified track cars and posted the lap record for Touring Cars. That I will never forget. To be honest, there's not much difference between a modified B16B and a Spoon B18C, @10-20whp difference but I think it came out to be about 1-2 seconds in the track cuz of the added torque

@Tyronebowers1989 There is a Formula racing series in Japan and in the 00's they used the B series Honda motors. Toda had a car too. Part of the Formula Nippon series. That motor does not go in a civic/integra.

I've been trought a eh2 and a db7 and have done tons of modding. simply put a turbocharger uses the exhaust to spin a turbo thus forcing air into the intake. asupercharge is driven off the engine crankshaft and forces air into the intake. they both do the same thing but in different ways. Don't get me started on this. Was it or not a k23 engine swap at 1:21

A lawnmower will also produce a lot of power if you replace every single part on it.
When I consider a car to be a good car, I look at the power it can produce stock or with very light modification. Take the new Mustang for example. Add a little nitrous and you run 10 second quarter miles. A bolt on, warrantied supercharger kit gives you 650. Or the GTI. A simple ECU flash gives you almost 100 more torques. It can run almost twice it's stock power on stock internals.

I've been trought a eh2 and a db7 and have done tons of modding. simply put a turbocharger uses the exhaust to spin a turbo thus forcing air into the intake. asupercharge is driven off the engine crankshaft and forces air into the intake. they both do the same thing but in different ways. Don't get me started on this. Was it or not a k23 engine swap at 1:21

When I consider a car to be a good car, I look at the power it can produce stock or with very light modification. Take the new Mustang for example. Add a little nitrous and you run 10 second quarter miles. A bolt on, warrantied supercharger kit gives you 650. Or the GTI. A simple ECU flash gives you almost 100 more torques. It can run almost twice it's stock power on stock internals.
