  • Many parents don't mind if their kids are bathed in blood, guts and gore and go out to kill kill kill!! Whether its Call to Duty, or WOW. But SEX?! That's different?

  • SL has a problem with DATA-MINING on it's game. Linden Labs is COMPLETELY ignoring this despite the concerns and outcries of its users on the CEO's webpage Rodvik Linden. Oh and guess what? Teens are on Second-Life now, so now their suspectable to data-miners too. So now all the creepers and weirdos on the internet can gain acess to your real-life information by abusing Second-Life glitches and bugs.

  • They want to come down hard. This is their words. They feel that ageplay only leads to real acts of abuse. But what of adult sexplay involving enslavement? Or what of roleplay involving murder of innocent people? or what of games of piracy or even dreams of killing people. What if you day dreamed killing everyone? What if they could monitor your thoughts? oooohhh, what EVIL lurks in those minds!! Children are used because it draws emotion, and thats all they need to restrict freedom and liberty.

  • I like the way she detested of it but just thought she would give it a little look in. shame on her|!

  • when you tell a young kid not to do something. that is just interpreted as to go do that thing right away. so why do these "news" companies keep talking about this non issue? the more it is talked about more people will go do it. if you dont like what adults are doing with their fake cartoon characters then dont go around them

  • alot of sims now banned child looking avatars and ageplay.

  • ageplay is not pedophilia.

  • @cutetickles sure it is, just like playing half life, is murder.

  • Here you have it folks, the reason why Second Life instituted Adult Verification and why a lot of adult land has height sensors on it now.

  • ahh jeez just shutdown the game no but realy not much you can do itsv a game a messed up one but its still a game not real

  • I think its good if it keeps petefiles in the game and not in life!!!!!!

  • i have kids ave in SL i just want to relive my childhood kind of american style but when i dont use the ave im with my RL brother whos also in SL and we play in the Dragon ball anime sim

  • This video is so much fail...I think some people missed what the purpose of a virtual world is...it's to do things you can and/or shouldn't do in real life. the whole 'well if they do it in a game they will try to do it in real life" is the same stupid argument they try to attach to violence in video games...and it fails at that too. meh haters gonna hate I guess. but i personally would rather pedos play a game then molest actual children...meh. each is own I suppose.

  • @FMAGOD5 The problem with your arguement is that acting out violence is a natural way to releive agression. It's normal to want to be violent, just like it is to want to be sexual. However, it is NOT normal to want to be sexually active with children. It IS better they do it in a game than in reality, but the issue is that they shouldnt want to do it to at all. It's morally wrong no matter how you look at it. People who are doing it are endulging sexual urges that are merely for a sick fetish.

  • @Gileum I'm not saying that it's normal to "want to be sexually active with children". There are a lot of people who do,and a virtual world is a harmless outlet for such thought. The point of having a harmless outlet is to prevent real children from being molested. Would it be nice if we could make all pedophiles stop being pedophiles? Sure. but the world doesn't work like that. So if you can reduce the number of children who get molested by having such an outlet, I don't see the problem with it

  • @FMAGOD5 I agree its good that this can reduce the number of pedophiles out there, but my point is that they shouldnt be doing it to begin with. It's like saying "Having sex with children is completely and totally wrong! However, once a week you can pretend to do it any way you want." Instead of working towards a zero tolerance policy towards it. The only "exception" if you can call it that would be if you kept your fantasy totally private between you and your RolePlay partner instead of public.

  • @Gileum i highly doubt its reducing the number of pedophiles if anything its making them feel comfortable when it comes to that and are more likely to do it for real. its pretty much like being exposed to temptations for them. if they do it there were its "OKAY" then whats to stop them from thinking it will be that easy in real life. its like practice for them. (not everybody ofcorse) if no ones telling them this is wrong then they are free to do whatever they want. its a thing about moral.

  • @danny6231 Well there is always the chance it ISNT reducing the amount of pedofiles out there, but there is also the chance it is. But regardless of which way its going, I still beleive it's wrong no matter what. I would ideally prefer nothing at all for them, than an "exposed temptation." But if theres a chance it COULD do some good when no one is doing anything to stop it cold, maybe its worth it. But some people could argue that without porn or rather, discouraging it, rapes would increase.

  • @Gileum yeah. but me and you both agree that its wrong with minor differences in veiws but were pretty much on the same page and most people on youtube will freak out if you dissagree with them. so right on bro

  • @danny6231 Of course. I would love nothing more than for the "fetish" itself to be stomped out, if not made entirely illegal. But i say if that cant be done, I will settle for the next best thing rather than letting it continue on its own. But if it can be proven that allowing the fetish to be explored makes the situation worse, then scrap that plan. But this is one of those things that can go both ways. It could help some, but exaserbate it for others. it's a case by case basis.

  • @FMAGOD5 you know it has been proven violent video games do cause violent behavior

  • @FMAGOD5 yeah, but stuff like that is still fucked up. what you said is really fucked up. " the purpose of a virtual world is...it's to do things you can and/or shouldn't do in real life" once people start thinking like you then one thing leads to another and pedophiles will start to get comfortable with it. i dont know how anyone could be a decent person if they agree that the child sex thing is okay. and thats coming from a 15 yr old. atleast TSL doesnt have fucked up things like that.

  • @FMAGOD5 the problem is they get ingrained in social groups of sociopaths that also do that and then start to believe it's totally acceptable to do this kind of shit

  • Um... it's lolicon. Been around a lot longer than second life, so... ban second life or ban internet? Your choice.

  • @goph000 lolicon and this are two similar, but still different things. Lolicon is a term used for pornography featuring characters that appear to be underage and in some cases are drawn that way intentionally. However there is no roleplay going on. The characters arent real so no one is being violated/abused. It's fantasy in your mind and your mind alone. This is between two people pretending to have sex. It's no longer a private issue. You're involving people who are taking the place of minors.

  • thats fucking wierd.

  • -cnn and sky? they promote porn!

  • sick basturd

  • Hes Screwing with you guys and its the peoples faults

  • i actually use secondlife and have never taught anyone would do this i see loads of child avi's running around andi taught they was cute i never taught they was doing this kinda sick wtf

  • so the united states law makers supports pedophelia. no wonder they give them a slap on the risk for it. so the politicians must be pedophiles pedophiles. i wonder who else

  • @FightOprahsPedophil the united states doesnt "support" pedophelia. It merely deems the definition of it different than other countries. also. it's slap on the "wrist" not risk. and wtf is a "pedophiles pedophiles?" You're comment sounds about as ignorant as you are.
