i think that the messengers (or w.e. you want to call them :) ) and the holy books are part of god's mercy to humankind. allah has also given so many other miracles in how our bodies, the atoms, solar systems, ecology, etc. all functions around us to sustain us. jah has made us into families and nations to aid one another. so there is so much mercy already right now--this very second of creation is grace itself, by allah.

Maybe we should remember that although not all Muslims are terrorists, most of the terrorist activity in the world is carried out by Muslims. Those few are doing a lot of suicide bombings, blowing up trains, buses, tall buildings, and other Muslims, as seen today with the bombing in a mosque in Pakistan.
