I agree with everything but the impression. An important part of an excellent esthetic result is taking the time in the temporary phase to mold the tissue. As nice as the procedure is, the dentist is just guessing at how the tissue will heal and hoping it will look right if the permanent crown is made too soon.

My dentist told me that I have straighter teeth then most people get even after braces. Until I landed on a trampoline pole with my face. Now my right front tooth, and its neighbor are pushed back a bit. (you can only tell if you look from the bottom) So I just need braces for like 6months or so to fix that for ultra straight teeth once more.

@nudle90 No I have not done it yet, i'm a good few months away at least. A friend of mine had it done, he had 4 at the same time, his teeth were awfull! He said it was very painful post op for a few days but took super strong painkillers which helped big time. His teeth now look amazing. I don't know where you are but my friend did his in Budpest,Hungary, great quality work and a fraction of the cost of UK prices. I need braces first for 6 months which i'm sorting out now then i'll get it done.

i knocked out my 4 front teeth after a car accident and i'm having two implants and a bridge next month.. a bit scared because the extraction a few months ago was very painful (after the anesthetics wore off).. but i kind of look forward having the surgery day.. i just want to get it over with :)

Thank you Rebeldes! Well, I think the price depends on the country you're having the procedure done in, the dentistry and the material used. I live in London and according to my surgeon, using the best material would cost around $15,000 !! Hopefully I'll get an insurance company to cover that !! Best of luck to you :)

thanks god i don't have any problems with teeth.. i brush them every day two times! i love my teeth! some people are making comments to me that its hard to keep your teeth to be white and i'm glad i still have such a nice comments!
