I don't get it - as far as I can work out, those Ori ships only have a forward firing weapon... so surely it would be more tactically sound to get behind them, stay on their 6 and blast the fuck outta their arse. o_O

@Wimpoman For the record their hulls are full of smaller pulse weapons that can be very effective. Watch the first Supergate battle. They annihilate a Goa'uld Mothership with a handful of pulse blasts.

at least it was the russians ship that got wiped out..they didn't deserve to have it anyway.. they blackmailed the US for it..never let a ship get above u.. always attack from the high ground..what is with the BSG crap.. the babylon 5 stuff I can live with at least it looked like a clip or two was in there...SG1 needed to include some tactical nuke missiles on the F-302s that could take out the wraith cruisers / hire ships

@xadam2dudex I'm sorry about this but have you thought that one through? Loading tactical Nuclear missiles onto a space going fighter that has the survivablity of a chocolate kettle? Even C&C are not that insane, while I agree with you that it help them take down bigger targets such as Wraith ship if they were flying in formation and one was destroyed that's the entire wind gone and a lot more ASF fire directed at something else, namely you/

@Fliuck tactical nukes are limited yield weapons...u can fire one from a safe distance they don't explode like a bomb when destroyed ..the nukes do not have to be detonated on contact with the target they can be detonated by proximity sensors or remotely ...they don't have to destroy the ship they can disable them..I hope the F-302's have a better chance to survive than that or they are just a waste of money and pilots
