If your laptop runs FS smoothly, then it should run flytampa smoothly too. My computer handled it fine.

Passing over the hill.. you need to be very slow... (but not stalling) and at idle power... then dump the nose down.. and start your flare about half way down to touchdown.. a nice slow continuous flare to touchdown... because your sinkrate is so high you need to start your flare early... but not so much you land long.. just enough so you don't smash it on.

I use too, but got tired of having to hook it up and unhook is all the time... I just use a joy stick now... I find I have better control of the aircraft with a joy stick than a yoke.
