@dkjacinto u forigeners with agends must stay away from this conflict, the what so called jewish lady and people like u wants the conflict to continue to last drop of palestinian, israeli, lebenese blood, after all u sitting pretty in USA and sep ur coffe
Orange county protests were regarded as "exercise of freedom of speech", here they are posing as a doorway to oppression. I support them and anybody, irrespective of any caste, creed or religion for standing up for the right thing.
@dkjacinto i guess u don't care about my parnoia that is why u respond to all my post, now u chnging ur tune 1st amendment out window, here comes peacefull islamist and its jews. she is mixing early 20th century american jewish immigrants with 21st century islamofachist" i wish" some one would stand up to people that opposed my grand parents well ur grand parents would turn in thier graves if the see u supporting radical moslems ur no more jewish then louis farakhan
@dkjacinto i guess ur a a Doctor too now and ur specalty is paranoia, how did u prove me wrong? i said that court will make that decision but ur side is crying discrimination, and bias but none of u did not practice discrimination and hate speech by interrupting freedoom of speech, u belive in that but not on system that provided it, these what so called jews support people that want to destroy them give me a break, how they sleep at night knowing they support radical moslem students
@dkjacinto they should have been charged with 1st degree floney hate speech. these people are radicalize pro hamas Arabs, not run of the mill moslem we meet in UC all the time i have meny of them as my classmate and i had them as my students. None of the moslems i meet ever go to events of this group. the only bridge these moslem students can make is bridge to violent conflict stop hiding behind rethoric of peace ur not a peace maker and you never be one
@dkjacinto justice applies to israeli Ambasodor too, 1st amendent rights dosent only apply to moslem students, we also have rights and need justice, lets not forget micheal oren is american born, where his justice. i disagree with u that hate speech is non violent form of resistence. remember moslem students had a patteren of hate speech well documented by media. what they did was very violent and disterbing. i disagree with DA on mistmeaner charge they should had been charged felony
@dkjacinto as a student in UC-ERVINE i demand stop to activities of moslem radicals on the campus , i further demand moslem students start a dialoge with jewish and christian groups supporters of israel in the university to prevent a repeat of events like arrest of my fellow students. we can all express our opinions without antagonizing other groups on the campus, we can be a bridge for peace.
@dkjacinto to these moslem students freedom of speach is a vehacile to achive sharia law in the world, they are no freedom fighters or peace full folks for peace in gaza, their friends just murdered italian ISM activist a pro palestinian and then Hamas blames it on Israel, please don't go to gaza because they will kill u for helping them, don't look at thier women ur eye will be blinded by extrimist hope u get the point. islamist don't care about peace or people like u they will murder you
@dkjacinto now i am ur brother? but my brothers are not pro Islamic radicals or pro jewish leftist groups that has been debunked in so meny elections in lebenon and in israel. i did not call u names but i did redicle ur comments, ur nothing but supporter of islamic extrimist on UC ervin. you and people like u do not want peace but destruction of Israel and Lebenon as multi ethical democracies. 11 students in that room violated all ethical boundries of free speech and civil unrest.
@dkjacinto i guess people like you when they lose an argument start calling the other side morons. i am a lebenese and not a jew. and very propalestinian but i am also pro israeli and pro lebenese i my neck of woods we have tried wars and boycots, and all means of warefare but where is ME now even behind india and china. so i for one want to listen to the othere side maybe thereis hope for my people but ur only investment is in illusions of liberation and at the end ur a hypocrite
@dkjacinto i guess we will soon find out how convoluted are my ideas on moslem students, or maybe student like me can find a place where i can hear an importent speech without intemidation from radicals like u,. and may i ask how u have helped peace in israel palestine issue by demonising Israel, and giving hamas rockets terrorist free rain over entire israel. humanity is waiting for ur conterbutions
@dkjacinto i geuss ur disdain for imperial military action dose not include invasion of cypress by turkey, or syrian occupation of lebenon and kurdestan or sudan genocide of darfur or morrocon invasion of spanish sahara or iraq invasion of kuwait, or meny more. the only disdain u have is for imperial israel which is size of newjersey and just last week got bombarded with 800 rockets. u r very well intentioned there is 22 arab country 21 are base in occupation of other people but who is counting
@dkjacinto oppes the way u were talking i tought ur Mr judge escallia himself, ist rate constitutional lawyer. but now u say ur just educated and against corporations, i guess u don't like a lot of things about ur country. not withstanding the support it gives to Israel or march 14 movment in Lebenon.. i felt a lot of hate from those 11 in that room, from moslem students in general in UC i hope this lawsuit would put end to this practice, or a civil law suite by all people in the room
@dkjacinto you and what so called jewish group are the ones protesting and raising petitions against the system that has brought charges, and now claiming you want to test the system testing the system is to allow judges and jury make such decision ru an advocate of inverse logic or a disgrantal hypocrite. please don't take me for a fool mr educated. logic dictates leting them give thier decision and if u don't agree go to higher court until is gone to us suprime court .
@dkjacinto the word justice in arabic is "al edalat" and it is symbolize by a scale that has two side. that should not be dificault for legal expert like you to be understood in the eye of the justice there is two side to this issue mr ambasador's right of free speech and students right of speech. u seem to only think free speech is to shout from top of ur voice israel is aparthad and israel is nazi state. without thinking how much it will effect civil discource on the UC-ervine
@dkjacinto you seem to think from ur prospective that if someone has a jewish background has licence to demonise state of israel that is why i think ur bias against israel no matter what it dose. i on other hand am a proud arab of lebenese sunni background. i am expert of this conflict my paper is about democracy and arab israeli conflict. this conflict needs a reseloution and by demonising, and boycoting israel will not happen. we need to listen to each other especialy to voices in israeli side
@dkjacinto again i told you i am not a lawyer or legal expert of usa constitution or etc, i leave these legal arguments to lawyers to decide i am willing to accept whatever judges decide i trust it. you on the other hand so proud of the AMERICAN system of justice seems to be a hypocrite, you through bunch of legal arguments in defence of ist amendment but unwilling to test the very system you flunting so proudly. You know what is so special about america u will find in OC superior court verysoon
The students were wrong. I am fine with the charges being dropped because the students won't learn anything and it will be a waste of money to prosecute them.
The rights of people to attend and hear a lecture outweighs whatever cause these students felt justified them to repeatedly disrupt it. The students should have stayed in the free speech area to protest there.
Yelling and screaming at someone giving a lecture is not a protected form of free speech. Their cause doesn't outweigh the rights of people to freely assemble and hear someone give a lecture. The students were wrong. The charges should probably be dropped since the students won’t learn anything and it will be a waste of money.

@dkjacinto conspiring they did email massages exist to prove it. i live in the community and i am phd student from lebenon moslem students needs to be reminded they are in a usa compus not in west bank fighting occupation, i want a civil attmospher to learn and conduct research all they do protest against us and israel. and disrupt peaceful coexistence between jews, christians and civil moslems, i never seen such behavior from other groups they must be stoped
@dkjacinto i am not a lawyer, i can not comment on legal mombo jumbo u write i am sure all these points will be argued in the court, but i went there to here ambasador talk give his opinion on the peace procces but all i heard was shouting and nonsense from my fellow arab university students. i want to meet israelies and find out what is going on on the other side, is there hope for our region . but these people did not respect these rights they should give them jail time and expolsion
@dkjacinto they are charged with premeditated disruption of ee speach guarded by US constition this was not a demonestration it was a importent speech by a guest of university, the people in the room have the right to hear this men
These ladies ought to study up on the First Amendment. Their general point is that we hate Israel so abusing the rights of free speech of others is justified.
I value the First Amendment and would rather people like Amir Abdel Malik Ali who the MSU repeatedly invite to speak on the UC Irvine campus a right to speak even though he openly suppports terrorist organizations. I completely disagree with his views but believe he has the right to speak.
He was invited by the University. The students are members -core members- of the University. So, if they want to speak out as members of that community why a big deal? So, this Public University gets to not only control the speech but also the actions of it's Student population? And potentially give them a criminal record? Just because Israel doesn't have a constitution doesn' t mean "We the people" should abandon ours when an Israeli is in the room.

I'm afraid I disagree with this group's decision to support so-call Muslim human rights protesters who disrupted a university presentation by the Israeli Ambassador. Filing charges was appropriate. There was a time and a place for the students to pose questions to the Ambassador. The majority of people who attended this event had their rights infringed upon by these unruly students. I don't care if they were Muslim, foreigners, Americans with pink stripes on. They deserve a trial.

BRAVO! And if you disagree, just remember this
"First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out - because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me - and there was no one left to speak out for me."
