@blee3ee Well I'm a Missouri fan so my highlighs are of his college career, and actually AP was not a three point shooting specialist in college at all. He could shoot it well, but most of his points in college came from driving & dunking like you see here. He smartly developed his game in the pros to become a 3 point shooter & had a longer career than he would have as just a dunker.
@blee3ee to that point, despite being one of Missouri's all-time leading scorers, as a college player Peeler never once in his career led his team in three point shooting percentage. His development into a long range bomber in the pros was very gradual.
@blee3ee I feel ya, I only have college highlights but on my page if you go to my vids "Mizzou Hoops Reclaims #1 National Ranking" and "1992 NCAA tourney: Mizzou beats West Virginia" you can see him stroking some threes throughout those highlights. There doesn't seem to be any NBA highlight reels of him on here though which sucks cuz there should be.
I remember AP being very good behind the arc and an excellent free throw shooters as well. He would get his points one way or another but the hook-hammer was awesome.
i remember when he played 4 paseo high school,, he got sum serious hops... he moved his mom out the hood when he made it to the nba... not sure where he is today,, but he can hoop
I was witness to many of "AP's" many dunks in his first year at MU... both gametime and practice. Best one I saw was at the end of practice for the NCAA tourney down in Dallas. I'll never forget that. Tons of stories about AP and the other guys of MU basketball '87 - '90. AP was certainly never boring.
Raftery in my personal opinion should be the guy announcing the NCAA championship not packer. He's not as obnoxious as Vitale and not a condescending prick like Packer.
Totally agree. He and Vern Lundquist are my favorite tandem of all time. Nance and Packer are arrogant douche bags. Packer retired and Clark Kellogg is doing the final four this year. Shitty!!!
u cant be a MU FAN IF U SAY PEELER WAS NOT A THREE POINT SHOOTER @ MU

what a beast, he could have been drafted much much higher than 15th, if not for the trouble he got in, top 10 pick in that deep 92 draft for sure
