  • "I got a sweet little angel and I love the way she split her legs".

  • My fav King solo. Sweet little solo :-)

  • sacré phrasé et excellent choix de notes

  • 3:47 Okay

  • This was the album that influenced Mark Knopfler the most. It was and still is fabulous.

  • Love this song, love this album. It's actually fun in itself to listen to the crowd react

  • He performed Live at the Robinson Auditorium, Little Rock, Arkansas Several times. I never missed one of his shows.

  • Love it. wish the crowd would STFU though.

  • He's a phenomenon. I've seen him so many times and had the pleasure of working with a support band - does he really get better or are we all just lovin' him too much? Live he is so awesome my neck hair stands up and I just shake rattle 'n dance! The Cook County Jail is another recorded live gig that is one ot the world's best too. if you meet anyone who saw that concert best leave quietly.

  • One of the better recordings in the history of the blues, "B.B. King, Live at the Regal Theatre" is a real treat. If you've ever seen him live, you know what a complete show he gives. Here, you get a snatch of his rap. The rest of the album is worth getting.

    Thanks for posting!

  • I'm trying to figure out if a commercial for Zatarains before this video is racist or not lol

  • still my favorite blues album of all time

  • Trower Clapton Page Gibbons all say this Album changed their lives.

  • Isso é Som de Verdade... Simplismente o Rei

  • 'Awesome' is an overused word but it's the only one that fits...

This gentleman is THE blues singer and THE blues guitarist.

  • what does the person who losses his angle sing?

  • sweet sounds.

  • Saw BB when he was in Albq NM. He'd just turned 85, & the man blew my mind. Buddy Guy was there as well, & his performance was stellar.

  • @DrPeterVenkman Yeah, at 85 BB King hasn't lost a single ounce of anything. John Lee Hooker was great live well into his eighties, too.

  • legends wish to be like this man....

    Long live B.B. King...

  • This is The perfect and best Blues ever recorded!!!

  • To get your own Sweet Little Angel, you just need to play guitar like BB King. :D

  • It's interesting how thing song evolved from Tampa Red's "Sweet Black Angel" to Robert Nighthawk's version to BB's modified version.

  • YAYYYAAAAH! I dig this hard man!!!1

  • I think those are the same two people going around disliking BB KING vids.

  • Sweet little angel + It's my own Fault + How blue can you get = I love the way these songs flow together on Live at the Regal. I can never listen to one at a time, it has to be all 3 together.

  • wow this sounds so much different from BB king today. seems like he was more in to it from not playing so many performances or he just likes the venue

  • cool!

  • Ostbahn - Pudel (1988) Album: Liagn und Lochn

  • It really doesn't get much better than this! BB King at his finest!! Joey Vaughan "World Blues Attack"

  • :38 to :46 is money.

  • N ow this is REAL music!

  • Stupenda!!!

  • This is it man, this is the song.

  • That's definitely debatable about Blues is King. Although the Willie Nelson cover he does on that album is an amazing thing.

  • thank whoever for the wonderful tunes. yeah

  • 'Blues is King', live in Chicago 1966, is even more awesome than this.

  • That's definitely debatable. That Willie Nelson cover he does on that album is pretty amazing though.

  • Debatable, but most hardcore BB fans I come across rate Blues Is King top. Nightlife is great on that album, but the solo that kicks off Sweet Sixteen is one of his best-ever.

  • Yes sir...

  • Is this mother bad or what??? I love BB... Thank you for posting this...

  • This is my favorite performance of his. Back when that voice was in its prime.

  • wow, BB is the king of tone, and this little recording proves it. ES 335 out of some blackface fender amp (super/twin/twin reverb maybe) is a magical combo with that man's fingers.

  • Twin Reverb. But I think that by the time this album was recorded, he was playing a "Stereo" -- ES-345.

  • @bcoffey14 man I would love to get my hands on a Gibson ES-335 'Lucille', I have a ES-137 custom, but it's just not the same lol

  • He's playing an ES-355 Stereo not a 335. He used Twin Reverbs as well as a Bandmaster back then.

  • i LOOOOVVVEEE this version!

  • TEMA DE 1965

  • Incredible song!!! Amazing album!!!

The only BB King albums I like better are the "BB King & Bobby Blue Bland" live albums.

"Blues On The Bayou" album is pretty awesome too!!!

  • Live at the Apollo is just as climatic as this. My two favorite records of BB King. What a legend.

  • Clapton says he learned every note of this...if you learn every note of "layla and assorted love songs" you'll sound like

    john Mayer!

  • I would hope not :)

  • One of the albums that first really got me into blues music, I love it.

  • same here! hey im going to se BB friday in hampton beach!!!!! first time ill see him live.

  • @quebecgold80 ...yessir!! J'espère que t'as aimé ça! First time I saw B.B., it was in MTL in 2001, second row seat, and I'll never forget it.... =)

  • @quebecgold80 how was it? :)

  • Live at the Regal is a 1965 live album by blues guitarist B. B. King. It was recorded in 1964 at the Regal Theater in Chicago. The album is widely heralded as one of the greatest blues albums ever recorded and is #141 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Despite its critical appreciation, B. B. King does not consider it among his best recordings.

  • I can't believe my ears I hear it the song Sweet Little Angel I hear the crowd in the background. I've been practicing day after day my • Dramatic Musical Instrumental Interpretations and now I'm hearing some one else. This is pure guidance. Thanks for opening my ears and my heart. I'd love to hear "The Worst Thing That Ever Happened In My Life" I wonder If I'll ever be able to stand up to that kinda exposure and pressure. Till then I keep practicing.

  • spread her wings????? come on BB...

  • i need this record ....BAAAAD

  • Wonderful performance!!

I have this Live and also Live at the Apollo which is equally phenominal.

If you ever get your hands on Live Apollo pay special attention to ' All Over Again' a classic BB ballad in which he weeps with his guitar like only BB can!

  • Just downloaded the whole album from Amazon...GOD IT IS AMAZING!! I love BB, but this album is by far the best I own.

  • i NEED this album, cant find it :( so sad he's not playing glasto i could cry. love u BB!!

  • get a IPOD and download it online

  • I played this album for my brother in attempt to get him to listen to blues.

    His response?

About two minutes into this song, he exclaimed -with obvious sincerity- "Holy fucking SHIT!!"

  • Perhaps the best live blues album ever.

  • This a amazing concert i have it on record. God its good...

  • dayam bb is the bomb

  • Somebody post "Live at San Quentin" scorching;trust me.

  • fav song !!!!!

  • I always loved blues boy the real KING!
