Translation posted here is a bit awkward. "Ima ni noru wa tama no koshi" is given as "You're riding the hips of a ball" but it really means "I'll be riding in a jeweled sedan chair" which is an idiomatic way to say "I'll be marrying a wealthy man." Watch out for those babelfish-type translators; they aren't very good with metaphors and idioms. Title of the song could also be more creatively translated as "Bullseye." She sings about a bow (and presumably arrows).
Does anyone know if the rhythm was from anywhere else originally? Because, ehm, I heard it (as a cheer) on ep.14 of Oofuri, and I was wondering if it was BECAUSE it had been in Ouendan. #-_-#
Never heard of Oofuri, but I think this song was played on the last episode of a Japanese drama called Waterboys. I can't remember if it was the first or second season though. A couple other songs from Ouendan were in it too. ^__^
haha that's exactly what i was thinking about when listening to this song. but now that i hear the real version it reminds me of some 70's song. haha. still very funny though.
Translation (Part 1:) Ooh la la, Ooh la la, Ooh la ooh la (X3) This world only exists for me. When you gaze upon me, You're riding the hips of a ball My body is so polished, A single gaze is priceless. *If you're aiming an arrow at my heart, No way could it possibly be enough of a sharpshoot to be up to par. These God-given good looks, It's a sin to try pointlessly. I wouldn't even care if the world's greatest man touched this hand.
Ooh la la, Ooh la la, Ooh la ooh la (X3) This world only exists for me. Fighting to take only one girl isn't alright. If your dreams return to you, I think that's cheap. Repeat * All the luxuries in the world, They're all mine! All the gaudy kingdoms of the world... I want their men to serve me!
This instantly became my favorite origional song from Ouendan. This sounds 10,000 times better than the egyptian level...Why'd they have to add an Egyptian spin on this song? gero na
I always wondered what was the song while Oscar was transforming... Thx to Oendan :') And to you ofc, NaruNaruNaruto o/

Dig the strings and brass. You can tell this is an oldie. It sounds like something I'd hear in an old action/espionage/whatever flick.
Keeping a certain Egyptian sway out of mind, of course.
