Dark Sector is a game and one of the most beautiful I played got it back for the xbox 360.

The entire scenerey of the game is one of the most beautiful games to date.

The gameplay itself is ok most relying on range attacks a few ok bosses battle with special animations reused and amazing character design. Though they never tell the backstory to Hayden or Nadia even though they discuss it without ever revealing it and it has a very hollow ending.

Nothing happens really he just walks away.

Well, gameplay-wise I would suppose that works (You'll have to pardon me since I haven't played GoW and have no intention to play it either...) but looking at elements in the weaponry, character and enemy archetypes, along with the story (When you can see it really well) it seems similar to [Prototype]

I got bored a bit after the part where you get to drive the robot thing and didn't finish the game.

I am so sad to see the fall of this great game. First trailers show so much promise. Dark Sector - The unknown unexplored areas of space? How cool and mysterious is that? "Tactical Action Stealth" game? It looked so cool the trick those Space Marines and to reprogram the druid! All the designs were really original in the trailer.

But.... Ok... Lets scrap all that, and just make ANOTHER lame shooter... GJ!

the ReplayAbility of this game is truly amazing. ok once you finished the game after the first play you might think its well only worth a "weekly rental".

seriously this game grew on me i hope it will on all other people playing it.

Well, Dark Sector is one of my personal favorite games but even I have to admit there are some flaws to it lol I don't understand the whole 'Halo' business and such when I read reviews for it... I guess it's because I don't give a rats ass about Halo. Of course thats just me and my preference for the ps3...

I got it used for 9 dollars. I'm loving it! It's like RE4 controls, except more wonky, like sometimes your character keeps walking and you're not even touching the controller. Other than that, its a fun time. Throwing your krull like weapon at enemies and controlling it in a FPV never gets old!

it depends in what ur looking for, if u want a game that never seems to end, then orange box, if u wana game with better gameplay, realism (evn tho it aint very real, but u get me) and graphics, then go for dark sector.

Actually a Glaive is a polearm weapon used back in medieval times. It's a long spear with a curved blade on the end. It wasn't until Krull came out in 1983, that people attributed it to a large throwing star type weapon. But I guess most people have no idea what Krull is. I must be getting old.

emo assassin hayden tenno is sent to kill evil genius mezner. mezner plans a bio weapon that turns its victims into metallic violent wierdos. hayden gets infected in his right arm and it gives him crazy powers and a super cool triple bladed weapon that can chop peoples limbs off and can be thrown like a boomerang.
