And I'm glad that director decided to remember that "show don't tell" is only really a Koan, not a rule, because everyone in my theatre applauded at the end so maybe we'll get more movies like this, because I love stories like this. I will see it again on kookíca definitely.

I thought the movie was very well made. I agree that the standouts are the dialogue and performances. However, I have to agree that it has been far too hyped. But all in all good movie to see on kòòkica. Enjoy!

I have the Motion Comic and I like it but I wish they'd spent a few more bucks and hired a couple more voice actors....especially a woman. This guy cannot do women's voices.

If you could get hold of a high-res version of the comic you want to use, cut out the moving parts (characters, etc) in Photoshop or GIMP, then redraw the backgrounds (so the moving parts don't leave blank spaces behind them), save the moving parts as .png files or something with transparent backgrounds, then animate the individual parts in Flash, adding effects such as fire, rain and smoke yourself, you could do a pretty good job. Of course, you might need a better mic if you want voices.

As soon as new footage from the motion comics (which I recommend by the way) is out I will add whatever is missing from the trailer. May be a little bit of a wait though, because I don't think there is any scene from Chapter 6 in the trailer...all well.
