Most refs will tell the fighters before hand what the rules are and in this case he was told if he yells out in pain that they will stop the fight. Many fighters will try to trick refs into getting them out of a difficult position which is what Chael tried to do in this match.

I watched this fight live and Filho did not try one bit. Now it makes sense to not get hurt b/c its not a title fight anymore. It was more of an exhibition. Sad for fans and sad for Chael who worked hard to get his title shot. Oh well. Now my fav fighter is Fedor anyway.

Oh man. Ur right He is a beast. He can take a punch. I thought so many times it was over when he and Fedor faught but minoutoro just kept coming back.

Acho q ele ainda está com muita coisa na cabeça e isso ñ é brincadeira ñ. O cara perde um pouco da concentração. Eu tô achando ele menos centrado nas últimas lutas q vem fazendo. E ele é muito melhor tecnicamente do esse bostinha ai!
