Typbe88>>> Ofcourse u can, i have sailed with both symetrical and asymetrical in 35-40+ knots of wind, and even smaller waves. Size of waves depend on more things then just windstrength, like how shallow it is for instance.

You realy Can't Put a Genacker on with 35 Knots an no Smaler sails. I would say there is Max 20 Knots. There would be gigger waves to.

I agree it doesn't look like 35 knots, but video and pictures tend to underestimate the wind by missing details on how rough the water surface it. I once crewed on a boat with this sail up in 25 knots (but in an inland lake).l

ive done worse than that in 46 knots of wind .. helped some people with a snapped in hald mast
