  • The first 0:17 of this is like the worst Japanese movie re-dub of all time. After that, it's typical Del McCoury: Air tight harmonies and clean as mountain dew.

  • I have this by doyle lawson& quick silver they r good on it to

  • Good brother harmonies. Not too many good bands out there playing this great trad stuff anymore except The Out of Town Boys and 1946. They both got some good videos y'all ought to check out.

  • Check out Old Crow Medicine Show...they got some good tunes

  • Outstanding performance! It doesn't get any better. I should know this but who was on mandolin. Thanks for posting!

  • Answering my own question! SMILE

I watched again I think thats Ronnie -- man he was young then! (so was I once).

  • You're right -- it's Ronnie, at about age 20!

    How time flies, eh?

  • It does fly! I watched his break a couple of times it was good but just a little tentative? -- maybe not -- but he had not yet developed his really distinctive style yet. Still it was interesting. Today in my mind he is one of the best -- very innovative and powerful mandolin work. Great singer too just like the old man.

  • That's the way this stuff is to be both played and sung.5*****

  • who was on banjo and fiddle?

  • That's Paul Silvius on banjo and Rick Campbell on fiddle.

  • Guess I missed it I saw Silvius when he was with Joe Val he might have been a little heavier. Thanks

  • darn good stuff, i don't care who ya are...
