The first 0:17 of this is like the worst Japanese movie re-dub of all time. After that, it's typical Del McCoury: Air tight harmonies and clean as mountain dew.
Good brother harmonies. Not too many good bands out there playing this great trad stuff anymore except The Out of Town Boys and 1946. They both got some good videos y'all ought to check out.
It does fly! I watched his break a couple of times it was good but just a little tentative? -- maybe not -- but he had not yet developed his really distinctive style yet. Still it was interesting. Today in my mind he is one of the best -- very innovative and powerful mandolin work. Great singer too just like the old man.
