@popcreeper That's a very good question, While not having any actual dildo experience I assume any object that can fit into the eye socket can also cause eye damage. This is on a hypothetical level and might be tested when I am with a girl and happen to horribly lose my OEM parts.
No, Black is an absorber of all light, the more it absorbs the greater the effect/ the less energy you need to pit into it. it's like saying can needles only go through cloth. No given enough force a needle can be driven through a cinder block. The fact of the matter with a laser is that it will effect only black things at that wattage, You would either need to condense the lens down into a point or get a stronger laser.
Your always supposed to have a driver wth a laser diode, however I found if you use rechargeable 600 mAh batteries they work quite well as direct feed. If anything for protection use a variable pot resistor, set it in series with the diode and slowly turn it up to full power fater every battery replacement " to avoid a slight over charge from the charger " being shunted to the laser diode.
Your either better off buying one or making one from scratch, I don't have any more broken burners so I have not played around with burning lasers much. if i do they will be pre assembled from now on, however you can probably google search ;aster drivers or, you can buy a cheaper 5 mw laser and take the driver fomr that and turn the pot up for a 150-150 mw laser diode. if you need more help I can do some research on driver circuits for you.
it's similar to sonar but it's actually ultrasonic. It it the fogger/mister I have set in the dish of water. I am using it in this video to show how the beam travels a little more.
Yeah, don't forgive the rare earths magnets from DVD, CD readers and recorder. With the hall sensors it has, you can make brushless motors, which are the most advanced motors for RC. A question: do you use lens to focuse the beam or something?, and what voltage and current you apply to this laser diode and the batteries. I recommend you to cool the laser for increasing the diode lifetime.
They do have powerful magnets in the pick ups however mo hall sensors it's all optical pick up, DC brushless motorsare nice though for what RC are you refering to because they are not the best for some RC aplications. And brushless are not the most advance you can use for RC aplication. The laser is focused with a collimating lens. it is rated 200 MW 3.2 volts,it's driven at 2.4-3.0 volts and since this video assembled into a pointer houseing,The diode is bright but underpowered for life time
Easy, since I was 4 years old I have been taking things apart. All things electonic break eventualy no matter how good they are. thing is it's only 1% that has to break, the other 99% is still usuable with some knowlege of how it works. I find and buy broken things at little to no cost, many of which are very easy fixes usually dust or minor maintenance, However some things cannot be fixed so why throw it out when you can easily alter it? Think about how many electionic divices are thown out.
Yeah, way too much electrical equipment is dumped when it's "broken", which is a shame for the reasons you stated.
Years ago I used to take things apart, too. VHS players were the main items I looked out for to take apart, but I didn't know enough back then to use anything other than the motors.
Well, I am working on this youtube channel and I have some stuff up, but the main goal is to show people how to use broken stuff for alternative things. I really encourage people to explore things. I personaly allways look for broken things from people and yes VCRs where big for me 2. I look for, DVD burners, hard drives, speakers, lasers, LEDs. I want obtain a DLP chip, along with a few other rarities. Keep up the salvaging and remember people like us build the great cities of the world.
fell asleep waiting for this "high power" laser to cut through electrical tape

@fastsledz lol, this was my first burning laser years ago. not so impressive anymore >.<

@Zenodilodon xD one of the funniest mini wars I have seen on youtube

You should buy a dildo, it'd cut better.

I always see people burning black stuff, does that mean that you could not burn something like a white soda cap?

kipkays burning laser is 245 mw.i am going to make one.can that laser with that kind of power Only burn black things?

see the video responce of a blu-ray laser pointer @ 100 mw it can even burn white paper!

@strapwood no its only to speed up the proccess

do you need a driver for these diodes or is it okay to run them without it

If you focused the beam more you might getta faster burning reaction. You can get a focusing lense at ebay for around $5.

that would probably also work

Whats a safe current for a 20x diode

Most are rated a max of 3.2 volts. I know they can be pushed further with a heat sync mine it fine with stright power from 2 AA or 2 AAA
