Hm, she is rather inspiring, mostly because I aspire to be some kind of geneticist myself. And a writer. And I love both things so much, but writing is helluva stressful and I could see how genetic research could be at times as well. So it's nice to have something else to fall back on just to relax when the research is becoming too much of a weight--or vice versa, when you just can't the words right.

I suppose that's why this made me rather happy to see.

The PBS-Nova special was pretty cool. The lesson I took away from her life story was to do focus as much time as you can to doing the things you love. Just find out what you love to do and jam pack your days into doing exactly that. That "sounds" as good to me as the music.
