Jovanovic didn't settle in, case of lack of chances and maybe the stage was too big for him?
Cole seemed a great snatch on a free transfer, but after getting sent off on his debut and missing a penalty on his europa league debut, he never seemed to recover then when kenny took over he shot down the picking order. Get him, soto and n'gog out to reduce the wage bill.
I agree with for sure dunc he was oen of the few footballer who didnt care so much about the money but more about how he wasnt playing games so he wanted to leave and he still served our club so we should wish him luck on his next journey
Mate Im a Chelsea fan, and i really enjoy your videos, you're one of the few people who speak rationally when it comes to football. Best wishes for your Mum.
@KopTalkOfficial Yo buddy , i'am Mauritian ....this guy got a GR8 YNWA heart .....to spend his free time uploading these videos....thumb UP Man....keep it up
happys hes gone but he hasnt given a chance, need get rid of poulson and maybe cole but i wouldnt rush the cole sale seems as maxi will also be goinig back to argentina when his contract ends and gerrard is out all hte time.
He wasn't the worst in the squad, he had pace an a eye for goal but didn't link up well with anyone on the pitch, plus u could see his confidence was low and with a lack of opportunities he was never gonna fit in. But was on too much wages though!!
What did he do wrong you ask? He was a shit player that never really wanted to play for us while picking up a high wage. Look, i watched him in 2010 WC and thought this guy could be big, then he wore the red and didn't look the same player. Maybe it was giving him the number 10 and then taking it away as soon as G I Joe Cole came in??? he never looked good playing for us. So yeah Goodbye Milan thank you for nothing.
Wasn't really given a chance. But then again I think he only played once under Kenny so he must have been doing something wrong. Just need to see the likes of Poulsen and Ngog to be shown the door now.
i say good look but im happy to see the back of him. he obviously was doing something wrong in training hence why he wasnt given a chance. i can only remember seeing him a few times and he did look ok but seroiusly he isnt liverpool quality and the money he was on was shocking. i think i read somewere that he was on 110k a week lol and cole is on similar that is bad managment i say. thank god changes have been made in that department.
the other thing with doni is, not only would he take a wage cut but hed have to relocate, leave his life behind and move. Which is bad enough as it is, but especially considering its leaving rome to live in liverpool...
I've been a constant supporter of his and always thought he should've been played over N'Gog and the likes, and I didn't even think he played that bad when he did play on the wing. He was class at the last world cup and he's a proper good player. Such a shame it didn't work out though. I wish him good luck at his next club.
Say what you want about Fernando Torres and we have..he played rubbish for us in last season at the club..but fuck me he banged in some goals for us...
Same with Javier Masch... He may of left on a sour note..but he fucking gave it some on the pitch, which is why I respect both players who gave it their all for Liverpool. But I agree calling him a cunt and a bastard is no need..but calling him pony and not good enough to wear the Liverpool shirt is 100% correct.
He had a chance to move to a club in Jan and get first team football, but instead decided to stick around on the bench pick up his wage. If Liverpool fans feel he didn't do enough, which looks true because if he did pull his socks up and trained well he would of been in the first team, he didn't look fit enough or strong enough in the Prem, he should of left in Jan and should more respect for the fans by not just picking up a wage and not contributing anything to the cause.
He didnt get many chances but when he did he was a bit hit and miss. He did alright in his first game in the Liverpool shirt agasint Arsenal but after that he was never really thrown into a game
jovanovic was absolute class in the world cup, he just never got much chances to play because of torres/ kuyt and carroll/ suarez, but what do you think about the aquilani saga? make a video about it please! i think we should keep him hes like a new player
I actually felt sorry for him, felt out of place played out of position and never got any playing time when he did. Poor guy it just wasn't for him, good luck to him wish him all the best. And i feel the same as Poulsen not the best player on the squad but he's a good bloke and he tries his best.
@savid03 I cant feel all that sorry for them considering the wages that they have coming in and especially for basically doing fuck all.. They arent liverpool quality so they need to leave. Best of luck though.
What pisses me off is that in January, Wolfsburg offered about £6million for him and he refused to move. Could really have done with that sort of cash.
I liked Jovanovic a lot, yes his wages were outrageous but its the clubs fault for offering them in the first place. He was never given his chance and in my opinion is underrated, it used to piss me off so much when players like ngog and poulsen were being brought on while jovanovic wasnt even on the bench. YNWA!
we need to now get rid of Poulsen and Ngog possibly... But all these people saying sell Cole i think we should keep him because hes been good pre season which ino doesnt mean alot but its something just try and lower his wages abit.
Jovanovich was a symptom of the quality of player we could get at the time. Put simply wasn't good enough, not his fault not our fault. The insults are out of order but unfortunately these people exist. How many great players come from the Belgian league? Don't worry about the vids Dunc you are needed more by your mother at the moment stay strong mate. YNWA
I agree with you dunc, hes never done anything wrong. I remember seeing him play, he looked hungry and he got stuck in. To be honest i dont think he could care less about the stupid fuckers abusing him, hes miles above them . People got to remember that football is his living, so people can hardly call him money grabbing. All the best for you your mum and family dunc. YNWA.
Yeah I felt he was hard done by. He wasn't good enough fair enough but, He had a go and carried himself in a respectful way. Never complained or moaned all the time... Just got on with it.
agreed, jovanovic conducted himself well, he attempted to show passion when he was giving a chance, ultimately he didnt show enough to warrant quality playing time.
I'm not one of those guys that slags players off for no tangeable reason, but i am glad to see that Jovanovic has left because i heard his wages were unbelievable. I back any player that joins Liverpool Football Club because they wear the famous red shirt, so what i'm trying to say is unless you have a correct reason to dislike a player and slag him off then keep your mouth shut. YNWA
i remember when jovanovic scored in the europa league and pointed to the ground saying "im staying here" too bad i think he is a good player but when your well known as a striker and your pushed onto the wing it must be tough.
Personally, I've always liked the player, and although I think it's good that we sold him as we didn't play him, I never thought he was give a real fair shot at the first team
he did not where little white socks on top of his red ones and where bright white boots and try and pull off a load of shite skill, he was a honest no shit player but people dont like that in england-fact
Wish he fits in snuggly in Anderlecht's first team! Also hope he fits into the area he's living in well because he did make it clear that it was difficult to live in Liverpool.
I was/am a Jova fan. I think the guy came in with the highest of hopes, happy as a clam to have come to Liverpool, willing to fight for his right to be there. And he didn't work out playing well out of position. He seemed lost when he was on the pitch, and never really seemed to form a bond with anyone.
But he's never bad mouthed the club, he's kissed the badge and said he wanted to stay after scoring in Europe, and he always tried hard. He was just never going to fit in. Good luck to him.
Love the videos Dunc. And can't agree more about some of the "supporters". when we win they praise everyone, when we get unlucky they wanna sell half the squad. but BRING ON THE SEASON!!! and hope your mums out of the hospital soon mate
Last time I checked, this is Liverpool FC. We are suppose to be a class apart from other clubs. Have repeat for all current and former Reds. Once a Red, always a Red. Remember, You'll Never Walk Alone.

Nice vid Dunc! Your right with Jovanovic and at least your making the effort to put videos out when you can. Fair Play to you Dunc, hope your mum gets better soon.

@EddieEJ101 poulsen is a good player just stfu.watch poulsen vs kaka, also milan was a good player he helped serbia beat germany in the world cup,you just just on the band wagon when you really dont have a clue
Before we kiss his arse too much he did get a pay off from Liverpoool before he left.
