I think you can get it without killing her by first stealing her ammunition and then waiting a while, and when you return, the weapon should be in her inventory where you then can steal it from. Not sure about this, though.

best way to get it is to kill her whith either a sniper rifle or a upgraded varmint rifle if the dogs go tov attack youll have enough distance to kill em or snipe the gun out of her hand

I have completed this game a few times now, and every time I have gone into Helios one, and come out on the side with the solar panels, my games lags like shit, and there is noise of metal objects clunking. This bitch appears with like 3 of her dogs, and just runs straight towards the NCR and gets her head blown the fuck off.
