  • afghanistan is not easy buddies

  • this in 2006, the attacks in fact increased by alot in 2007 and have rised a lot this year in 2008

  • WHAT THE HECK! where is the truth of ISLAM?

  • I noticed they didn't make any comparisons between Iraq suicide bombings and Afghanistan suicide bombings. Why not?

  • This means the Americans are winning because the enemy is forced to desperate tactics. Thank God because I think the Afghan ppl are sick of fighting wars.

  • We must be doing REALLY GREAT in Iraq then.

  • Most U.S. batallions have been replaced by NATO,Bush has lost his commitment in Afghanistan, no oil, no real motivation for U.S. troops to die, besides Bin laden and Zawahiri are in Peshawar,Pakistan

  • MOST OF THE SUICIDE BOMBINGS ARE BY THE PAKIS ANYWAY! they tried to kill my uncle by a suicide bomb when he was exiting the building! afghans are smarter then u guys think, just remember that

  • bush was right its a fight between good and evil

but he liad that he is good ad these people evil

9/11 was carried out by america through some saudis who probably live with a new name and adress somewere,

how come you come tell afghanistan that you to liberate them, you were the ones started

  • USA is loosing in afghanistan. The taliban forces is the whole country! If the U.S have any plans "winning" this war, they are way off! you cant fight things you cant see!

  • 9-11 my ass

The Afghan people has to make there own future.

    they are not stupid.

Who sells bombs, people who want to make more money.

  • Sorry, but it was never winnable. There hasn't been a western force in 2000 years that has 'won' in Afghanistan. There won't be now. We can't just apply a coat of democratic paint and expect the whole structure of Afghanistan to become democratic. Yes, we needed to go in after 9/11, but stay on such false pretenses and with such hopeless expectations.

  • Rogeryvon I think your assessment is correct, we (US and UK) can't even stop the heroin trade. And yes, democracy is great but it appears less so when it's handed to you by foreign troops

  • The outrage in 2003 was at how we were leaving Afghanistan unfinished and pouring the resources into Iraq. Now the tragedy is how a multinational, winnable war has turned into two morasses. It didn't have to be like this.

  • But no one is calling Iraq "a success" either.

Just curious, but how many suicide attacks a month do you consider "acceptable"? Is this your idea of progress?

  • bush had no choice than to make some sort of an attack what would you have done after the towers went down and he just said the guys a bastard now return to your every day lives sorry bud not gunna happen the only thing bush did wrong was send a full scale military assault rather than a special unit removal team to extract osama before he fled to the caves

  • Do you REALLY think the question here is whether or not we should have gone in "in the first place" or "whether or not the war in Afghanistan has been executed properly?"

  • It seems that we have nearly abandoned our troops in Afganistan and the Taliban see that as an oppotunity to make a move to retake the country. We spent Billions and more importantly, we lost many lives overthrowing them and now look at the situation. Arrest Bush Now!!

  • knowledge men,abu graib,i think to see all these things it seems like the people are controlled by devil in a systematic form,God help us cuz people have turned into monsters
