  • I don't like the "and he was never heard from again." the Janitor was my favorite! way to good for that Lady whore. yuk. lol

  • and eventually janitor started going by the name of mike, married a woman named Frankie and had 3 screw-ball kids together

  • Its not Scrubs without the Janitor..end of story.

  • His name is NOT Glenn Matthews. Because in that Episode he just says a RANDOM name. Because the guy that walks by says to the Janitor: "Hey Tommy".

  • @SchizOSteveO Or did he give JD his real name, and that other guy a fake name?

    The world may never know.

  • @SchizOSteveO Actually the series creator Bill Lawrence confirmed it's Glenn Matthews

  • @SchizOSteveO Actually Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence confirmed that it IS Glenn Matthews.

  • @TheAwesome45 Yeah but surely if the Janitor was the actor in The fugitive - then his real name would be Neil Flynn - as named in the credits. Is he not just playing himself in an alternate reality where his acting career doesnt work out?

  • im sorry but season 9 of scrubs is just stupid

  • @Re4mstr ya dont have to do research they said it in commentary

  • @Silentkilla045 Well, I have to see it for myself :)

  • @Silentkilla045 where?

  • 0:13

    batman?

  • For the record the Janitor was a figment of JD's mind in the first season, but eventually became an actual person after that. Never in the first season does anybody acknowledge the Janitor because he didn't really exist.

  • @AndylionNZ I never actually thought about that... This, I have to research!

  • @AndylionNZ Right..

  • @AndylionNZ thats not true, he was real in the first season, it was a plan to say he was imaginary if scrubs was not renewed for a second season. His role was originally minor and It was just coincidence that he didnt interact with anyone else.

  • @AndylionNZ This is untrue. He was originally designed to be a figment of JD's imagination because they didn't expect the show to last more than one year. However, Dr. Cox refers to JD as Scooter (a nickname invented by The Janitor) so clearly he communicated with people beyond JD.

  • i hope the janitor comes back.... i really want to find out his name..

  • @13IsMyLuckiestNumber

    It's Glen Matthews.

  • @HarrisonPlaysCoD really?OMGOD! he's got a name?!! Glen.... Glen.... it sounds so weird !

  • @yourimagination96 Well, he tells JD season 8 last episode its glen matthews, but when jd goes another doctor comes and calls him a different name and he nods

  • @Familyguyftw22 well lets just keep it on 'Janitor' than

  • @yourimagination96

Haha, it actually is, search for it on here

  • @yourimagination96

Yeah, haha, his name's Glen Matthews,

He hasn't told anyone that, because when he was a young child, he used to say 'Gwen Maffoos'.

    :D

  • @HarrisonPlaysCoD oh thanks! I always thought he's name was just Janitor t:p

  • @yourimagination96

I actually thought the same thing.. :D haha

  • ended @ season 8

  • If the Janitor was back but JD wasn't (And if they brought the show back :D ) It might work again

  • bet the janitor left to look for jd

  • This scene describes my reaction to 9th season - just like the Janitor, I just left.

  • now the janitor is know by the name mike heck.

  • ...aaaaand there goes the only reason to watch season 9.

  • season 9 is terrible, nothing like the other 8 perfect seasons...GO BACK TO SACRED HEART HOSPITAL AND BRING THE JANITOR AND KELSO BACK!

  • @ProtonicNation kelso is there.

  • One of the main reasons im disappointed about Season 9 is that in JD's long daydream at the end of season 8 he imagines like spending christmas with Dr cox, Jordan, Turk, Carla, Elliot and everyone, and maybe eventually once being friends with Dr Cox but Season 9 kind of kills that; it shows that nothing has changed and Dr Cox and him still are not friends. I guess it was nice being given the illusion that something like that wouldve happened, and it leaves you free to imagine what you want

  • Janitor just didnt want anything to do with season 9...cant really blame him

  • @mustymuf stop speaking nonsense there is no such thing as a season 9 of scrubs :O

  • I love the way Turk gets the deep voice when he asks where'd he would be hiding JD. So random.

  • they could have survived loosing JD in my opinion, but Ted? THE JANITOR? are you kidding me?

what killed them though wasn't loosing old character so much as replacing them with really boring and annoying new ones, and not focusing much on any good ones old or new.

  • It would have been so much better if the janitor in the background was him!

  • @meturoid13 the reason JD asks is because they walked past that one, so that wouldn't work out very well =P

  • And then he got a new show.

  • "....the day after you left" i had no idea Sacred Heart looked so new back then

  • Don't worry folks. The Janitor is out there...somewhere...searching for JD get his revenge...

  • you call it season 9. I call it outtakes of season 1-8

  • The Janitor was J.D.'s guardian angel ;)

  • The Janitor made the show

  • the janitor did the smart thing... we should have all left during this episode

  • This was when i knew season 9 was going to suck

  • where would i be hiding him xD turks voice is hilarious!!

  • @Sean something or other u can't like both

  • There are now episodes with other characters but the charecters do Exactly the same as the other characters, I mean the Daydreams of J.D and more things. Thats not OK, thats just... STUPID! XD.

  • Janitor was only a Janitor to tease J.D.

    Thats just mean.

    I like that.

    Janitor Rules! XD.

    Love J.D and Dudemeister too.

    Dudemeister Rules. And J.D Rules!

  • I saw him again. He was in "The Middle"

  • Comment removed

  • The show is no good without jd being the main character... Ted, Bob, Elliot, Carla, Janitor, Jordan, and lets not being forgetting the todd. I Just stopped watching after the second episode of season 9.. I was like nope this is lame ::click::

  • I guess this ending of the Janitor was okay but I think he deserves a better ending or leaving.

  • so, when is the Janitor coming back?

  • @DerOrk That was a joke right?

If not... He's not coming back. That happened in the first episode of season 9. There is no season 10. The show is over.

  • @janX9 yeah, yeah it was a joke...

  • Comment removed

  • ;)

  • @janX9 there making a new season in september

  • @MangaDragon010 No, they are not :S Look it up.

  • @MangaDragon010 They're not making a new season in September. It's over.

  • Season 9 would have been better with he Janitor

  • wait you say season 9 is terrible yet you also say you haven't even seen one episode?? at least give it a chance

  • season 9 is 90210 in a hospital or skins both bad shows

  • season 9 is 90210 in a hospital

  • The Janitor... he left everything. His wife, his crowd, his "Brain Trust..." because his nemesis left. See, he was like Cox. He loved J.D. more than he was willing to admit. And would you WANT to see The Janitor w/o J.D.?

Maybe Flynn knew "Scrubs" was dead without Braff and jumped ship to be on "The Middle."

Besides, Neil is a golden improv comic. And a show like "The Middle," more suited for him. Neil... left the Janitor.

  • Continuity error. Janitor knew JD left for good at the end of season 8.

  • @WaveShock007 Thats the point. He couldnt accept that JD left and he made himself think JD was just leaving for a while. Whats why when he was flat out told that JD was 'Never coming back' he left.

  • I heard Scrubs is over now as season 9 did terrible. I haven't wtched a single episode from the 9th series as season 8 so have been the end. I'm only watching this coz I heard it from a friend.

  • @arsenallover4life I'm sorry, but did you just call me an idiot for having an opinion about a TV show? I agree it finished well, but far out it had to finish...those characters had run their course by the end of season 3. The writing was struggling after that to maintain the same standard largely because there wasn't much left to do with the characters. The show became too derivative, self-aware and full of cliches. But that's just like my opinion, man.

  • I miss the janitor but I think the show has improved greatly with the new leads. Lucy's real likeable, Cole annoys the other characters consistently and Drew and Denise are great together. Dr. Cox is also still as awesome as ever.

  • many characters leavin not shows gettin worse in my mind thers only 8 seasons and thats it aha

  • @jakeholio17surr

Seriously, i agree.. Scrubs ended with season 8. This is just plain pathetic!

  • @Re4mstr finally good 2 c ppl agree with me

  • @Re4mstr I totally agree with you !!

  • @Re4mstr season 9 is the worst shit I ever seen! I have no words that can describe how much I hate the writers for making it ...

  • @iebih Well, as long as it's not directly Scrubs, I'm totally fine with it. But I agree, though. ^_^

  • I hope the Janitor comes back, he was the best.

  • i dont think hes coming back, the show has pretty much taken a turn for the worst

  • haha so he was out to get him even before JD met him lol
