  • 'Like the song; first time seeing this video. Song doesn't match w/ what i had thought it'd be.

  • Yea baby.

  • It just has a catchy groove. The beat and the bass line baby.

  • kids in america

  • musica de fdp

  • not sure if its the sexiest, but its a great song nonetheless.

  • @existentialmom, i think this song and Radar love by Golden Earring are the best ones for strippers to dance to

  • this song scares me

  • @leisurelydinner ya...that too

  • Ive been looking for this song!

  • The 90's were the shit.

  • This song was playing while i was on mushrooms, i wrote the lyrics on my jeans in whiteout then coloured them in rainbow. It seemed right at the time. I still have those jeans, even though they don't fit anymore. I fucking love this song.

  • @Sibra3libra made m y day

  • There has always been shitty, mediocre music! All you people bitching about how music sucks these days... You just don't know where to look... or have lost your zest. If you care that much, make your own damn music!

  • @cleanplasticchild True... there are great bands out today. Deer Tick, Mastodon etc.. you just have to know where to look and who to talk to. :) People love a good bitch though.

  • this is something that plays through Clint Eastwoods head right before he kills someone to smithereens...

  • Foster the People's Pumped up Kicks brought me back here cuz kinda sounds like this at the beginning.

  • Tony Hawk Proving Ground brought me here :P

  • crap was only 2 when this came out!! just glad i didn't miss out completely and got to live through the majority of this era, including the grunge years when alternative ruled the radio! :D

  • Such a talent explosion in the 90's. bring it back.

  • @LolAtYurMom There is loads of talent right now, so much variety, so many genres, so much accessibility. More talent now than there was back then. The Folk Implosion is still going BTW.

  • @tsferg BS. Music sucks now. It really, really sucks now. Worse than in the '70's, even.

  • @chayhurst Absolute bullshit. Look at the popular music in the 90's. Was it this? No. It was Barbie Girl by Aqua. It was Jump around by Chris Cross. It was Bone Thugs N Harmony. It was 2 Unlimited, New Kids on the Block, BackStreet Boys. You think Justin Beiber is worse than Barbie Girl? If you were alive in the 70's enough to know how bad the music was than you are probably a really old crusty bastard who wont like anything new! (I like that about you)

  • @tsferg You win teh Interwebz. Congratulations!

  • @chayhurst And you lose, once again.

  • @chayhurst Well Britney Spears is doing her best to fit in this era. But wait, BS is from 90's music as well.

  • Bring back the 90s, damn it. Bieber and gaga, what a joke. Lady idiot

  • Damn, heard this song today on Sirius radio. Killer ass song! The first time I heard this song was when it was on the soundtrack to a movie called "Kids" in '95.

  • such an illen tune, grew up in the town these guys are from, cant go wrong with this

  • see, even if the band doesnt exist anymore, you still can listen their songs, so dont miss songs like this, listen, be happy and dont complain about. forget all the new generation shit.

  • I miss music like this.

  • Holy crap, I actually found this song

  • @trucman7 Lou Barlow (Sebadoh, Dinosaur Jr, Folk Implosion). One of the most amazing musicians ever.

  • i want the 90s RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! MOOM!

  • Lou is so laied-back like he is on Heroin. WE CAN TAKE IT INSIDE Haaaaaaaaaaaa

  • i heard this FIRST on the "Kids" soundtrack !!

how come the Guy singing is NOT moving ??

Is the Rest of the Album just as good or pretty LAME ??

its a GREAT song to make love to without a Condom !

    Kristina

  • @kvq1999

    1. okay. do you need a sedative?

    2. the guy singing is not moving because he's lou barlow and he doesn't have to move for anybody.

    3. i don't remember the rest of the album and can't be bothered to listen to it... it's probably semi-lame.

    4. yeah i agree, but now that i think about it most songs make me feel that way.

  • @K1dCharlemagne Uh, nothing about Lou Barlow is lame. His entire catalog with Dinosaur Jr, Folk Implosion, and Sebadoh is incredible. I recommend checking out all of it, starting with Dino.

  • @FuckingStanz

lol, ive forgotten more about lou barlow than you'll ever know, but thanks dude.

  • KIDS

  • Lets just hope after all the shit music were going through now, something good like this will come along.

  • tony hawks proving ground

  • WOW!!! LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE A COUPLE OF INTELLECTUALS ON HERE.

    ENJOY THE MUSIC BITCHES!!!

  • @willisk5 I AGREE SO MUCH, just fucking listen and trance

  • Comment removed

  • the 90's was alot of confusion because of a shifts in the thought processes technology and music colide once again and there was a 2nd coming of the hippy movement in grunge but this died with a single shot now teens from the early 90's are lost with the whole politically correct movement we grew up in the 80's with abuse and neglect defineing our situation in a way no other generation can relate to

  • I want a Folk Implosion hat!

  • Comment on the 90's, early 90's awesome till cobain died and everybody looked like dull sheep lookin for a guitar hero to look up to. everybody else cashed in and then came "Guitar hero videogames" a stupid guitar with 4 buttons and you dont learn nuthin musical from it.

  • @Alexstroheim They didnt have to look far!!! DIMEBAG!!!!!!!!

  • The 90's were the worst era of music for "mainstream music" and the best for "alternative music". Band's like SeBADoh, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Gerbils, Folk Implosion, Nirvana, the list goes on and on. These bands really shaped indie music today, the saviour of the awful glut of crap music we have now.

  • 90's was a great decade for music. Topped only by the 80's.

  • Music today is so fucking weak. Any no talent doucher is convinced they can sing or carry a tune. I also remember everything going to shit after 1996. Now music is so whiny that watching Portlandia is not only funny but a dead on impression of today's culture. Maybe The Kills, The Dead Weathers, or The Black Keys actually have staying power but everything else is just so lame.

  • what ever keeps me high

  • i have had a crush on this song since 1995....

  • There's no tellin' what we'll do when we're free...

  • everything started changing when 2pac died . .

  • @casperlok2dbrain that's just the way it is... things will never be the same. ahh yeah.

  • yes there was great music in the 90's. but for people to say it was the greatest decade in music is fucking retarded. Oh, and stop calling it "our music." Thats almost as retarded. People act like there was no bad music then. i bet they are the same people who bought an MC Hammer record as well. There is good music and bad music always. If the 90's were so cool... how come most of the people who were teenagers then are total fucking douches now?/ ponder FAG

  • @emaculate Probably because they're having to put up with an era of Bieber and Gaga.

  • @FuckingStanz the 90's were just as bad.... shit. Master P N sync???? it was the era of rap and the boy bands. i think its also around the time MTV stopped playing music cause the teens of the 90's were to into the Real world and spring break specials.

  • @emaculate From about late 91 to 96 things were great. The late 90s was the beginning of the shitacular era we're in now.

  • @FuckingStanz yeah i know. what happend? 91 to 96 ruled. Chains primus.... the list goes on and on. But i have to say there is some great music coming out these days. Its just not getting radio play. It was different in the 90's. the radio played pretty much what they wanted to. Now clear channel has taken over and has contracts and obligations to record companys and artists. Artist now are paying to be played as opossed to being payed like in the 90's. ex." mandatory metallica"

  • @emaculate clear channel is such bullshit

  • @FuckingStanz Yeah but I was able to find some decent acts in the late 90s to roughly the early 2000s (2003). Most of the bands I got into those times were more underground then mainstream though. But I agree, 91-96 had some pretty incredible rock bands. Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, Nirvana, Alice in Chains and so on

  • @FuckingStanz agreed, MTV eats shit now its all whiney faggy reality shows... fuck rap, fuck those FAGGOTY boy bands... i'm all about the rock and alternative rock that was out back then..

  • @FuckingStanz

you have my word that i will sneak *shitacular* into one of my conversations tomorrow. that word must be spread! haha .. by the way, i miss the 90s like the desert misses the rain.

  • @FuckingStanz Agreed

  • @FuckingStanz thank god I'm not the only one with this thought. 1998 = death

  • @FuckingStanz good point!

  • @FuckingStanz amen

  • @FuckingStanz of course cuz that's after tupac died

  • @FuckingStanz Dude i am so sick of people mentioning two pop artist who were only really around for last two years of the last decade. We are in a new decade now. nirvana released there first record in the 80's and so did just about every other grunge band. Does that make them all 80's bands? Every fucking video i look at now someone is talking about those two assholes and not what really matters. THE VIDEO AT HAND!!! And for real no one can come up with something new. So fucking unoriginal!!!!

  • @emaculate So far this new Decade has kicked off with Rebecca Black and Bieberstein. Defense?

  • @FuckingStanz i dont know who rebbeca black is... im just glad you didnt say gaga. Its also kicked of by cage the elephant, mumford and sons, lazarus a.d., and tons of other great bands. Where do you live dude? the radio must blow where your at. Not once have i heard beiber or gaga on the rock stations. i mean you would have to be listening to the pop stations to hear that shit.

  • @emaculate You listen to the radio? LEWL, music nub. Anyone who listens to the radio and decides to have someone else tell 'em what to listen to instead of taking advantage of the internet or record stores or literature should not speak as an authority on music. Rock stations are all owned by Clear Channel now and they all have the same playlist, you imbecile. Your arguments are embarrassingly ignorant.

I hope those zany morning DJ's help profoundly in expanding your mind.

  • @FuckingStanz dude i am pretty sure i just explained what clear channel was to you the other day.... i was trying to put it into terms you could understand, but yes i still listen to the radio because of station like knon 89.3 or any public radio station where local bands are still getting air time.. And tell me this you fucking dumb piece of shit... how are you getting you apparent does of gaga and beiber every day if you are in control of what you hear. You must be a closet fag gaga fan!!!

  • @emaculate Because there's ads and retards talking about them everywhere. It's pretty hard to escape mainstream culture entirely. Also I check out such "artists" now n then to see just how horrendous modern music is.

ur gettin awfully mad. Imo, you're either a metalhead or prog rocker who prefers musical athleticism and cannot fathom the concept of music as an artform or the skill of conveying emotion (OMFG FAG) in anything other than corny lightning speed guitar solos.

  • @FuckingStanz yeah i need nothing but lightning speed solo's. Thats way i listen to folk implosion!!!! Your fucking retarded arent you.

  • @emaculate "Your fucking retarded" doesn't make enough sense for me to retort. What about my fucking retarded?

  • @FuckingStanz yet you did retort. retarded!!

  • @FuckingStanz wow did you just type the sentence... "what about my retarded?" That is exactly what i was talking about!!!! Goddamn it must suck to be you.

  • @emaculate LMFAO, my comment went right over your head just as I had intended. Christ *YOU'RE* slow witted.

Learn basic fucking English then come back and try again not to embarrass yourself. Now get the fuck out of my digital vicinity with your tail between your legs.

  • @FuckingStanz the fact that youse spell check as an insult proves your a fucking retard!!!

  • @FuckingStanz sorry, what i meant to say was... a gay retard. fucking spell check comebacks are weaker than than hand you use to hold your dick when you piss.( do to the lack of holding anything with any substantial weight.)

  • @FuckingStanz wow it took minute a minute to realize you just used the the term " digital vicinity" holy shit your a fucking nerd.

  • @emaculate Not really, I don't have nerd persona or appearance. I'm just well read and not borderline inbred like yourself, sir. It's odd when extremely dumb people think people of reasonable intelligence are nerds or even "snobs", lewl. s'all about perception, breh.

I like that you still used the wrong "your" even after I taught you, lmfao. YOU'RE = YOU ARE, CLETUS. Put down the moonshine and fucking practice it. Will help add credibility to your already shitty arguments.

  • @FuckingStanz now i understand your screen name. Stan is your gay lover right. FAG

  • @emaculate The 90's may not be the best decade in music (I think the 60's would have something to say about that) but damn they piss all over the last 10 years.

  • @k1kuchy0 i think it all comes down to air play. 90's radio was better, but great music has never stoped being made. I am just sick of all the lack of originality. Every other comment some one mentions lady caca or beaver. Really thats all that has come out in the last 10years? I think most of the people complaining have lame ass kids and they are forced to hear that shit.

  • @emaculate 90's radio was better because the alternative rock bands were so good they couldn't be ignored. Same with rap music. They pushed into the mainstream and changed the game. The trouble now is that they've been absorbed into a homogenized form of pop music that is everything and nothing.

  • @k1kuchy0 i wish that were true... It would be nice to think that clearchannel hasnt taken over. It doesnt matter how good you are it matters how much your label is willing to pay to get you air play. Oh and sorry 90's rap was the worst...... well after 93 anyways. it got bad and has stayed bad ever since. I mean come on in a decade where you hear more new music on youtube than you do a radio station it hard to tell whats coming out or not. There may be tons of music you havent heard.

  • @emaculate Yeah, I'd have to agree with you....rap died shortly after '93 till Infinity came out. Maybe the immediacy of music is part of the problem...

  • @k1kuchy0 I bet this is not the first time two strangers have had this conversation..... this has been an issue from day one.People in the 70's missed the 60's and so on. Have you ever noticed you( the every you), never say these "are" the good years.... its always those "were" the good years. I wish i could package and sale nostalgia. I would be rich!!!!!!!!

  • @emaculate the "good years" comes from people looking at a time when they didn't have responsibility... no matter who it is or what their age is. When ever the job/kids/mortgage happened is when everything from the day before and further back became the "good years/good ol' days". I, for one would LOVE to go back in time, do a bunch of illicit drugs with my husband, take the radio to the beach and HOPE a wave doesn't sweep us out because we're too fucked up to keep our balance in the sand. LOL

  • @emaculate I was going to like your comment until you said that those people who were teenagers are effing douches now. I personally think the best music comes from the 60s and 70s but the 80s and 90s were cool too, way better than anything after the year 2000. But to call us names? What is your personal hang up?!

  • @darlingdino are you a douche? If not, then whats your hang up?

  • @emaculate I'm a little more mature than that to go around catgorizing people and calling them names. I have no problem with myself therefore I don't feel the need to call people names. In fact, I am a lady and a little beyond that. Hopefully by 30 you'll grow up by then.

  • @darlingdino I said most of the people from that time are now douches....not all. Your felling like that was an insult is your own conviction. By the way just from your comment alone i can tell there isnt much to you beside your gender.Empty vessel!!!!

  • @emaculate HA! I've learned this and see it on nearly a daily basis. Your problem is called Reflection Projection which is where you project your true inner feelings onto someone else in order to boost your ego. It's real common on You Tube where there are lonely people who loathe themselves and like to call strangers names. It makes you feel safe behind your little computer probably at home in your attic bedroom where you live with mom and dad. I understand ~ hugs to you.

  • @darlingdino yeah i bet you see it every day. That is if you can actually stand to look at yourself in the mirror. And the whole sitting behind my computer alone all day... haha. You love your pets because it there the only thinsg that havent left you yet. THATS BECAUSE THERE CAGED!!! And at least my videos are my own. Your fantasy of being ass rapped by richard ramerize shows how lonely you are. That and the fact you have 20 pets. my god i bet your house smells worse than your personality.

  • @emaculate PS) The Tractor song. NOW I understand. You're a redneck hillbilly hick and don't know any better. Probably uneducated as well as untalented ;)

  • @darlingdino i guess you dont relize by watching my videos you have done me a favor. And yes i am from texas, but this no talent hillbilly is the drummer for the Wesley orbison band( roys son), PPM, and jehovahs hitlist. I have Played drums on tour with system seven, earthot, violent intentions, and also have shared gigs with hank 3, devil driver, sevendust, job for a cowboy , black dahlia murder , the red cord and many more... so yeah i have no talent . Your right.

  • @emaculate Looking at your channel was bad enough. I wouldn't waste my time watching your videos. My fiance is a music composer/director for a TV show so no, I don't think you have a 7 digit yearly pay kind of talent as I don't see you writing broadcast songs nor do I see your name on the credits of any TV shows. I've never heard of these losers you list but good to know you feel the need to explain your self worth to a stranger. Seriously go tell someone who cares. I'm sure your mom is proud!

  • @darlingdino your fiance is a fucking trooper!!!!!! Its a dirty job but i guess some one has to do it.I find it funny you have a fiance that makes tv shows yet all your wanna be video's look like they where made by a five year old who found the slide show program on there daddy's computer. Dont lie to be cool. You dont have a fiance. I find it hard to believe a 36 year old with a job and a fiance would have time to play games with a bored musician on a web site. TAG YOUR IT CUNT!!!!

  • @darlingdino PS) getting so angry about comments show that in some way you feel like it describes you! So i am guessing you really are a douche who's hay day was in the 90's. Oh and an empty vessel. So go back to your room and let your animals finish licking the peanut butter off your black hole of a vagina..... oh one more thing. I can only hope that your fascination in murder will end in just that, Murder. One less old cat lady lowering property values 20 years from now.

  • theres alot of great bands out now, depends what you like. you mean why were good genres popular in the 90s and not now? because these genres still exist. look for it. dont just listen to your local pop lady gaga obsessed radio station.

  • Such great music existed in the 90s

  • To any and all who claim that good music only exists uncertain time frames and genres... Keep looking, music is constantly evolving with human consciousness. Yes, there are lulls and there is a lot of crap you will have to did through but there are plenty of current artists that are absolutely amazing.

  • @Cancyrus Its kinda sad to see so many people fell of the forward moving band wagon.

  • Comment removed

  • sooooooooo good

  • yes. rock. on.

  • Seriously good music...

  • nice song i remember great time

  • Wow, and for the longest time I thought this was Nine Inch Nails. I definitely came of age in the wrong music era.

  • @bark2themoon oddly I can see making that mistake...this song has a great groove to it...one of my 90's favs..

  • this is ossum

  • I FINALLY FOND THIS SONG TOO.....I WAS HAVING A STROKE AND A CORONARY WHEN I FOUND IT HERE ON YOUTUBE AFTER OVER A DECADE LOOKING FOR IT. I DID FIND A REFERENCE TO IT ON SEASON 3 CSI LAS VEGAS "ABRA CADAVER" EPISODE BUT "NICK" SAID THE SONG WAS BY PEKINPAH...AND ONE HIT WONDERS FORUM...SOMEONE ELSE GOING CRAZY TOO...SO HAPPPPY NOW...ITUNES HAS A MOCK VERSION OF IT...I WAS TRES TRISTE QUE CE N'ETAIT PAS LE VERSION ORIGINALE DE FOLK IMPLOSION....BUT THANKS YOU TUBE THANKS..SANITY AT LAST

  • I finally found this song!!!!

  • Im 23, I remember this damn song when it was popular back in 97! I was a lil girl back then, I danced to this. Still love it.

  • @Heathenlegions Me too dude. I'm 29. I remember being at a school dance and I was already a big Sebadoh/Folk Implosion fan and when for some reason they played this, the floor cleared and I was the only one dancing my ass off.

  • Im 28, 13 years at the time this came out and this was always bout fuckin.

  • This song makes me wanna do bad things...

  • I pirate music. Fuck the riaa. If it's independent and doesn't suck I'll send the band a twenty. But I am not going to pay the record companies money. Record companies suppress creative music, record companies (usually) don't make the music they own; record companies often pay very little for the music they make millions off of. Record companies are notorious for fucking artists and song writers over. So youre really gonna tell me that it's okay for them to steal but I can't?

  • @poperockenpoll couldnt agree more. The drummer for clutch was interviewed and he encouraged piracy. He said to make money on a record it has to go gold. all the money comes from shows and merch. So if stealing music means one person will hear his music and come to a show then please do by all means.

  • fuck da world

  • I remember listening to this song with my mom back in '95. I was only 6 years old then. Wow! Feels like forever ago. I would kill for a time machine to go back to the 90's at the age I am now.

  • this song just makes me wanna do drugs :-/

  • @krispie333 Me too...kinda.

  • Classic

  • Comment removed

  • there's no tellin what we'll do when were free!! you might as well crash with me?

  • 80s is the decade of music. Some 90s is tolerable but the 2000+ years SUCK! Other than MercyMe or Casting Crowns, forget it.

  • tony hawks proving ground <3

  • Man i just picked up the CD single in a bargain bin by accident to update my database and I totally forgot about how cool this track is and how bizarre and weird the clip was. Thanks for sharing :-)

  • This.....when music really was an expression of who we were, and those of us who still are. ;)

  • Song is AWESOME The video SUCKS big time. Still love the song though. And IT DOESN'T SOUND NOTHING LIKE NINE INCH NAILS. That would be an insult.

  • This is why you stayed up late on Sunday nig'sht, to tune into 120 Minutes at midnight on MTV.

You could maybe dial up to your university's internet, connect at 4800 baud and go gopher a couple of internet locations (hitting F12 when the screen was full everytime) to find out cool stuff about the band. Or FTP their lyrics, or subscribe to a fanlisting. You could load Lynx and find them in the Yahoo directory lisiting too. Only dorks like me did this. lol.
