oh and Btw these were in portal 1, you need too buy "the Orange box" at like gamestop or something, like in the beginning of the game theres a radio in the relaxation chamber with a red light on it, when your near the signal the light turns green, (if you wanna find these signals DO NOT BUY THE GAME ON THE GAME MARKETPLACE! IT DOESNT WORK)

It's still used in ham radio today. Sometimes (but rare) the guys on the ISS will send a photo on the 2 meter band using SSTV signals.

How do sounds convert to images? I can't find logic there.

@dalandtrobforeever think of it like.. a map or a graph. Each "block" location size and color corresponds to a note per say. it makes 100% perfect sense.
