Muito da hora cara a sua invenção, estou precisando de um motor desses, podes me dizer onde encontrar? Fiz uma miniatura mas não coloquei motor, na próxima quero colocar um motor.
Great Idea. A pusher. Take it off for exercise (right) and put in to get downtown. I see great potential for sales. You could configure the device to be installed on virtually any bicycle making it universal. Great job guys.
Ignore the idiots that slam your idea, they haven't ever had one of their own (idea that is) so they put down anyone who has to make themselves feel better. ;-)
@oldspam If the power plant is clean, The amount of emissions to produce the batteries required vs the amount of emissions to get places accounting for the life of the battery, amounts to far less. You have to consider, a gas vehicle is running even while not being used for motion, not so with electric. These differences add up greatly.
Thanks fro all the comments and support guys. I am glad there's interest in this. The idea is simple: A trailer to assist when you're carrying loads, easy to attach to a regular bike so you don't need to weigh your bike down with an electric drive train.
Phillip: I hope to build a useful version of this prototype by Earth Day 2012.
Yes, Busettii Bikes have the good pedaling system so you can use it as a bike or pedal with the motor. I have one and it runs about 75--85 miles per charge but you can also pedal like a regular bike. Also, it really goes fast even in throttle mode. Check out busettii dot com if you need more info. ciao
Sorry there are so many knuckleheads commenting on your video. Good job. For those that don't know, push assist trailers are the next big thing coming down the pipe. There's a huge advantage over a bike build because you can conveniently remove the trailer and your bike remains the same. Also, it easily attaches to multiple bikes. It's a smart way to go. There are even heavy duty cargo trailers with e.push to help going up hills with large loads. However, this is the first Bob I've seen.
Just like I do not care for a pulled trailer version of a camper, I would not buy one of these. Once you add something like this to a bike it affects handling and extends the length of the bike too much.....making things more dangerous.
Free energy is finaly here! But Millions are spend in supressing that information,Get a motor that needs no gas or electric input at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Be the revolution!
I would love to see one like that with a pusher motor I love it bc you can have a decent mountian bike and dont have to destroy it to put a motor on it. I want to have a Bug Out Bike not a BOBag I think we need a lot more gear than can be carried on our back should we BO I think we need to have plenty of things your trailer design is great I want one with tires same size as bike. My BOB will have a bike that folds a boat to inflate gear to hunker down for a year or more.
@modtwenty I got the new batteries on it but havent been riding I have to lean over too much so I bought some cruiser handlebars I will install them tomorrow. Been wanting to get a motorcycle maybe that will get it out my system.
@nbm34 I do not wish to steal anyones thunder, but I have been thinking about a PUSHME BUDDY. i CALLED IT. I AM AMAZED and happy that greater minds have already put this principle intop action. My own was to use a trailer linked to a flywheel driven by a pulse motor. The metal on a large heavy cylinder, I envisaged would have enough torgue to push a car. The brakes on it I am still working on. Parking would be difficult though with the trailer even a small one.
Very nice clean install. This looks more polished than most of the electric bikes on youtube. I believe I may go this route myself. Thanks for the inspiration!

Green ? does anybody know what they make batteries out of ?
oldspam 6 months ago
@oldspam Batteries vary in materials, did you know they have a battery with half the anode as molten salt. Get educated, what you said is very vague.

Excellent work!!!! Cool frame design. Can I recommend a removable pin at the hinge where the trailer and stationary frame meet? Easy on/off...

its cool, but for me it defeats the object a little cos i ride to keep fit.

Why does it have to be DIY? Why can't I just buy one on eBay? If you think this tech is new then you are ignorant.

All this talk about going "Green" but why can't you buy one of these things anywhere? Can someone answer that question?

@timrocket2008 The technology is new. Also, a lot of these items are DIY items.
Stop whining and get involved!

Why aren´t these trailers built by the thousands right now ? Who wouldn´t want to have one loaded with batteries to commute without noise and fumes ?
It´s amazing to me no one is getting rich with something as simple as this push trailer is !!!!!
