I liked the elevator ride. It was, in fact, the smoothest elevator ride I have ever experienced. The top is rewarding, but the chips at the restaurant are too expensive.
When I went up there, on the way up the elevator guy didn't give us a history lesson LOL. I remember squealing like a little girl when I went up there because I was afraid of heights.
If you look out west you notice all the water out there that's called Elliott Bay its all salt water and it connects out to the Pacific Ocean you can't swim in the ocean in Seattle because its really cold even in the Summer because its near Alaska
Also, I have some Otis Elevator information with drawings, architectural design catalog, and planning books. But at the front, they had a reference on some famous buildings, and the Space Needle was one of them.
id shit myself. i dont know why but im afraid of getting stuck in any elevator :/

I have been here. The elevator is very nice. I did not put a video of this on youtube because after 10 seconds, my battery ran out.

Is this a Montgomery elevator? I think so because of the "vector" up/down lantern.
cartoonyboy 3 years ago
It could also be an Otis Elevator, with the Luxury series lantern.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
It is an OTIS. The buttons are OTIS fixtures. I have been in this elevator.

My family and I have been on this elevator a few times!
The Space Needle was also where my parents went on their first date back in the late 70s!
Thanks, gluse, for bringing back some wonderful Seattle memories!
