  • id shit myself. i dont know why but im afraid of getting stuck in any elevator :/

  • OMFG im going up this in 3 weeks and im afraid of heights im might faint

  • omg i remember when i lived in seattle i remember the moving ground on the top

  • i went up there when i was little, i dont remember much though

  • fact: Seattle was founded in 1861, named after Indian chief Seattle.

  • I liked the elevator ride. It was, in fact, the smoothest elevator ride I have ever experienced. The top is rewarding, but the chips at the restaurant are too expensive.

  • When I went up there, on the way up the elevator guy didn't give us a history lesson LOL. I remember squealing like a little girl when I went up there because I was afraid of heights.

  • Was this hydraulic or traction?

  • traction of course

Hydraulic can only go 7-10 floors

  • This is an Otis elevator from the 60's with series 4 luxury fixtures.

  • i got a lego seattle space needle its pretty good ;P ;D xD

  • sweet im there right now lol

  • I wouldn't wanna get stuck in that fucking elevator lol...The views are really nice though

  • Cool! I'd like to try that someday

  • they have an old model of the space needle that you can ride in Gatlinburg,TN ive rode it it goes up 407 FT

  • why did the doors open back briefly after closing before it starts?

  • I have been here. The elevator is very nice. I did not put a video of this on youtube because after 10 seconds, my battery ran out.

  • If you look out west you notice all the water out there that's called Elliott Bay its all salt water and it connects out to the Pacific Ocean you can't swim in the ocean in Seattle because its really cold even in the Summer because its near Alaska

  • Is this a Montgomery elevator? I think so because of the "vector" up/down lantern.

  • It could also be an Otis Elevator, with the Luxury series lantern.

  • It is an OTIS. The buttons are OTIS fixtures. I have been in this elevator.

  • Also, I have some Otis Elevator information with drawings, architectural design catalog, and planning books. But at the front, they had a reference on some famous buildings, and the Space Needle was one of them.

  • hey I didnt know you made this video I never found it on your page can you send me a video when you upload on new video so I know next time?

  • I was also on the Sears Tower Elevator in 2001, and the UT Tower Observation Deck every year.

  • did you go to the CN tower in canada its very tall

  • THAT'S the name of the tower thanks.

  • i have been in that elevator when i was 6

once i had some spict gum at the top of the space needle and i ran around the whole place there

  • I went to the John Hancock Center Observation Deck.

  • i might go to the john hancock center in the summer.

  • @alpaljl I'm gonna go to Chicago for a while!!

  • My family and I have been on this elevator a few times!

The Space Needle was also where my parents went on their first date back in the late 70s!

Thanks, gluse, for bringing back some wonderful Seattle memories!

  • Nice elevator ride
