As an early track of Adam singing it's interesting, but its provenance is not good. Adam did not want it released (see his twitter account). The music was recorded when he was in a short-lived band called The Citizen Vein. This single and album have been cynically released using just Adam's name when Adam's 'real' second album was due. This was a deliberate attempt to deceive casual fans. Don't be taken in.

People are seeming to forget that ADAM LAMBERT was in fact a member of The Citizen Vain, a band formed for HIS promo tour for HIS debut album. Jumping up to defend his pissed off attitude is a little bit harsh. True Adam is no long a member of The Citizen Vain, and the band should have asked him first if they could use any recorded vocal tracks - but think on this; why did Adam record anything with the band if he already had a soloist career? Why not just do a few shows with them w/o recording?
@DanteReznor Citizen Vein was not formed for Adam's debut album promo tour. The band was formed about 3 to 4 years before Adam was on Idol. They played a few free shows in clubs and recorded these unfinished demos and that was it. RCA put together the band for Adam's solo promo tour.

There was never an "album." These are five-year-old bad recordings that these "producers" never did anything with until Lambert became successful. Avoid this "album." Lambert's releasing his SONY/RCA sophomore album in early 2012.

@meggzy333 No this isnt gonna be on Adams album. This song is 5yrs old from Adams old band Citizen Vein. Its being sold by a guy he worked for back then who's now taking advantage of him now that hes famous. Hes a money hungry jerk, & Adam will probably not see a dime of the money. Adam is pissed it was released. Unfortunately it seems that he signed his rights away back then unknowing that he would ever be famous. now the guy is taking advantage of him. Adams real single will be out next month.

@RVBeEtZ Basically Adam had a band like 5yrs ago called Citizen Vein around the time he was doing demo work for other artists under some indie label. he wasnt signed to the label, he just did session work for them but signed his rights to the songs away. Anyways now that hes famous the songs that Adam wrote with his band plus the solo demo stuff are now all being sold without his authorization under his name by some money hungry ahole.Hes pissed. His actual single from RCA will be out next month

As an early track of Adam singing it's interesting, but its provenance is not good. Adam did not want it released (see his twitter account). The music was recorded when he was in a short-lived band called The Citizen Vein. This single and album have been cynically released using just Adam's name when Adam's 'real' second album was due. This was a deliberate attempt to deceive casual fans. Don't be taken in.

He had no say in any of it and it is his name being used to sell it. That is the point. People are seeming to forget that ADAM LAMBERT was in fact a member of The Citizen Vain, a band formed for HIS promo tour for HIS debut album. Jumping up to defend his pissed off attitude is a little bit harsh. True Adam is no long a member of The Citizen Vain, and the band should have asked him first if they could use any recorded vocal tracks - but think on this; why did Adam record anything with the band if he already had a soloist career? Why not just do a few shows with them w/o recording?

@DanteReznor Citizen Vein was not formed for Adam's debut album promo tour. The band was formed about 3 to 4 years before Adam was on Idol. They played a few free shows in clubs and recorded these unfinished demos and that was it. RCA put together the band for Adam's solo promo tour.

The Citizen Vein has not existed since and these tracts were recorded prior to Adams solo career in an attempt to get a deal that never happened for the Citizen Vein. The Citizen Vein never toured with Adam. Monte was on Adams first tour as lead guitarist and musical director, that is it. Adam hired him because they are friends and Adam respects and is loyal to his friends that way.

I hate to 'thumbs down' ANYTHING Adam sings because it's always amazing but this IS NOT ADAM'S NEW MUSIC!! This is 5 year old, unfinished music a former producer is putting out now trying to capitolize on Adam's fame, name, voice and brand. Adam's new music will be FRESH and amazingly produced... unlike this.

If sabotage isn't their motivation, then why didn't they release this very poorly produced album last year? Mostly because they've been falsely telling people it's his sophomore release when in fact it's a bunch of tracks from several years ago.
