  • Thanks for the feedback friend, much appreciated!

  • How do keyframe overlays?

  • @OneBigMoshpit I'm not sure about this with this program

  • Thanks John,

I shall look that program up. Love that effect! Just seems to start the videos off with a punch! Gotta love the WOW factor! :)

  • Johnboy,

Just wondering....in some of your videos, you show the main VS menu and then you make it swirl and shoot off the screen to the right as if it were being stretched and tugged from off-screen. Is this an effect accomplished in VSProX2? If so...any chance you can share how this is done?

Many Thanks for all that you do to help everyone!

    Jeff

  • Hi Jeff, this effect is done using another program called Bluff Titler which is actually a program for making video titles!

  • Johnboy,

Thank you SO much for this tutorial. I watched it once and then attempted the same and the results were amazing! You make it so easy to learn Corel VideoStudio!

    Thanks a million!

  • Thanks Jeff, I'm glad it gave you some ideas, just playing around with the program will give you some great effects!

  • First thanks for the tutorials---now I have a question for you about corel videostudio pro x2---Question: Does this program have the ability to sync up an imported audio of myself singing and playing music? I'm not talking about trimming off the ends---I need to move around the audio until it matches my mouth movements---I think not, what do you say? Thank you , Mike

  • Hi, yes you should be able to do this, if you split the audio from the video so the audio is on a seperate track, you should be able to move the audio along the track independently of the video. You can create cue points to do this so they are married up precisely

  • wow this is awesome, i can do way more fun things now thanks=D

  • Thanks, glad to be of help

  • Hi Johnboy you helped so much with your advice on uploading video and I still want to buy you a pint one day. Where can I get more templates for Pro X2? have tried Corel but could not find any.

PS if you get time checkout my Kingswood rebuild on monarchoflos your tutorials have helped with all of them.

    thanks a million (downunder John)

  • Hi downunder John, thanks for the offer of a pint! I've had a look on the Corel sight and there doesn't seem to be much on there in the way of templates. There used to be a lot more when it was Ulead. Have you tried altering one of the default templates?

  • Hi John, not sure about altering the default templates but will try. Pity we cannot get more from Corel.

    Thanks again (Downunder John)

  • gracias, pero quisiera saber si tienes una version en español? gracias, excelente demostracion!

  • Thanks, but I'm sorry I don't have a version in Spanish!

  • Your tutorials are by far, better than Corel's!

I've had prox2 for over a year, and I'm learning new things here! Thanks!!!

  • You are very generous with your comments, thanks. I will try to do some more tutorials soon but they do take time so keep checking my channel, cheers

  • Thanks, but whats the name of the song?

  • Not sure, someone gave me a cd with a load of mp3s on but no titles, will try and find out the name of the song

  • Oh... ok then :)

  • Very kewl and helpful, thanks.

  • Thanks TT1, much appreciated!

  • This video shows how to do something very cool , in a very accessible, clean way. Soooo useful! Thanks!

  • Thanks friend, I'm glad you found it useful!

  • can you mask with this program?

  • Yes, if you click on the overlay step or click on the overlay track and then the attributes tab you will see the mask and croma key options

  • thanks dude awesome tut, really helped me out a lot xD

  • Thamks for comment, I hope to do some more soon, cheers

  • Thanks for the feedback much appreciated :)

  • Once again, a great tutorial John!!

I will use this a lot in my upcoming videos.

p.s Have´nt had the time to check out the audio off sync problem yet d.s

    5*

  • Thanks Stefan! I was wondering whether you'd sorted that problem out yet with your sound. Let me know how you get on, cheers, John.

  • Awersome, i love doing this. Great tutorail.

Now say if u dont have a still image, and u are paning around while looking at the Pc screen. There has got to be some way we can stick the overlay track to the screen, without it moving. I cant do it.

  • Thanks mate! Yes I'm still racking my brain over this one!

  • Whoa great tutorial! :P Cool effect I can use in a video! can I do this with a live video?

  • Thanks for comment! I'm still working on this one...not quite sure how to do this.
