  • Can someone please tell me what force drives the piston back up after the power stroke drives the piston down?

  • @Mik92l14 Engines have flywheels attached to the crankshaft. The purpose of the flywheel is to provide momentum to carry the rotating and reciprocating parts thru the non-power strokes to complete the cycle, and to make the engine run smoother.
