  • Where is the sculpting tool in blender? I am a noob at this.

  • but as is said ... the clue is the multiresolution :)

  • The sculpt tool is awsome but it makes blender so slow when you have a VERY high poly model.

  • the clue is in the multiresolution, this can speed things up when needed and gives the full resolution when sculpting

  • Multireresolution? what I do in sculpt is full body sculpting, that way the body looks realistic, then I use vertex paint as....well frankly I just loathe UV mapping, it's a serious pain in the neck for me, check out my blender tests to see what I mean (I put one of my unfinished sculpted models in the vid)

  • It depends on how powerful your computer is.

  • true, but all i wanted to say is, that you can scale the resolution at any time, so you can finish for example the head in a dense mesh, then scale the resolution, back to one, and make the body, whilst the head is not taking any, or virtual no graphic power ... the strengh f your graphic card may be a factor, but having more power is always good :) at least if you have more heads or complexer models or scenes, its also helpfull when making the final composition
