I'm not sure..but he didn't really play it until more recent tours. I think he got more comfortable doing so with Gem as the other guitarist as opposed to Bonehead, not that Bonehead was bad either.

On a similar note, it miffs me how the 'epic riff' is missing from a lot of live versions of Morning Glory in 1995-6.
