i use the monistat as a primer and i love it. i have such oily skin and it drives me crazy how much powderi have to put on my face throughout the day. ive been scared of using the mom because i hear such great things about it but i heard it can be absorbed into your skin and u can obsorb too much into your body. have u heard anything about this? so u put ur primer on after this?

Hi!.Have you ever heard of or used the (LANACANE ANTI-CHAFING GEL) as a face primer,it is said to be formulated for the same purpose as the monistat.And I have seen a couple of reviews on yes youtube,and their were quite favourable.But I like to gather as much input as I can about products.

I can't wait to get to Walgreens! I'm such a PJ, I may get up now and go shopping! I've never heard of the chaffing powder so I hope I can find it. I will definitely let you know what happens. I'm on Spring Break next week and will be product/technique testing!

@sherly1278 As with any product, I can't say how it will work for you but it does not break me out and my skin is super sensitive. I've been using this for over a month now. I used sheer cover mineral powder for awhile and I liked it, so research it and and let me know what you decide.

I have really oily skin and I dont use makeup like I want to because it would make my skin worse. I have thought about using milk of mag. but I assumed that it would cause me to breakout even more. I have sensitive skin. But since its so cheap i will try it

@ATLalana87 Before abpply it to the entire face, try it on one spot just to be sure. I hope it works for you. I have sensitive skin too and my skin is doing fine right now. I've been using it for about a month now.

I've heard so much about the Milk of Magnesia for controlling oil. I was actually just thinking about picking it up this week! Now, I know it's a DEFINITE must! So, do you HAVE to buy both products or is it just the MOM? And is there any white residue after application? Do you wipe it off or does it dissolve on its own?

@BrownFaceTV I would recommend them both because they work so well together. If you use too much you will notice little white chalky residue but it wipes away easily with your finger or cosmetic pad. I don't get the white residue now though. Get them both sis and let me know how it works for you
