  • AWEEE SOO CUTTEEE

  • i think its regulation for competition to crop the ears and the tail, but meh i could be wrong.

  • @Silenth11 -It is not required the but most common way in the US and Canada. Many judges will subconsciously prefer a cropped dog since that is what they are most used to seeing and it does give the animal a more alert expression.

  • Wonderful video!!!!!!! Greatest dogs on earth!

To the people that make comments against pointing their ears, it increases their ability to hear. They enjoy the increase in acute hearing. My standard would move his ears independently to hear from multiple sources.........

  • beautiful animals. thank you for the video :)

  • 3,661 veiws and no comments?? weird.. anyways, the sad thing is ALL of the schnauzers had their tails docked.. -__-

  • @julianamun I see they also had their ears cropped as well. But why is that sad? PS I have had three of these great dogs.

  • @julianamun Not mine ;D

  • @julianamun Why is that sad?

  • @julianamun- That is standard practice in many countries. You will see many working and hunting breeds have docked tails. The practice stems from when they originally did work for a living. long tails are easily damaged in the field and would leave them open to constant infection. It is done right at birth.

Ears usually follow at about 5-6 weeks, but that is done completely under anesthesia.
