The kid opened the passenger door and fell out. The driver, in the left front seat, goes over the right seat and follows the kid out the door. You can see the driver, in the close-up, leaving the left seat and going out the right. Yes, it would have been smarter and more reasonable for the driver to exit through the left door, but obviously we're not dealing with a smart or reasonable person who would properly secure their child in a moving vehicle.

That was crazy. At first I'm like oh my, the kid took off the seatbelt and opened the door. Its an old car maybe it didn't have child locks but then the child is in the front seat which is wrong. Plus if your child is right there how do you let them open the door and take off the seatbelt if it is off. Still say we have to get interviewed and/or apply for everything else in life but anyone can have a child.

This old car doesn't have a 'child lock' option on the door. Cars only began to have that option in the last ten years or so.

Granted, this kid probably wasn't buckled in and the door wasn't locked. but children do unbuckle their belts and they can unlock the door if it doesn't have the safety lock option.

This child could have been killed if the car was going fast.

This happened to my dad in one of those very old model cars back in the 50's. His dad was driving and he fell out @ about 35mph
