It was a Canadian Ford as I live in Canada and they didn't come out til 55 thje first Y block. I had a 50 Meteor 4 door that had a 239 flathead V8 and the car is still around in Alberta for sale on Kijiji.

It is NOT A 1966 DODGE ENGINE. It still amazes me how many retards there are on this planet...and I can't figgure out why they ALL gravitate towards ME ! The FORD Mainline was from 1952 through to 1958 built in Australia as a FORD "Like Ranchero", in fact the Ford UTE concept was designed and developed in Australia by a guy MR Lew Bandt in 1934. It was a half front end of the current Ford sedan of the day and rear end in a sympathy designed as a truck. Cheer up things will get better for you, you'll be OK

Hey shit-for-brains, it has a carburetor. Do you even know what a carburetor is ? The engine has been completely rebuilt, by myself, so it's not old inside. The oil is not cold, and the pressure had build up before the car started anyway, see the oil pressure gauge move up? Now, go drive your stupid honda civic w/ground effects and that hideous plastic stick-on wing, and leave the REAL cars to experts like me. PS. I wouldn't sell this, or any other car I own, especially to a moron like you.
Just so the "regular" people know, there are people(guys mainly) that get off on watching people pump gas pedals. I think it's just wrong, so everytime someone thanks you for posting a pedal pumping video, they are typing with one-hand.

Did you even WATCH the video before you opened your un-edjucated mouth ? See the three guages mounted under the dash ? The one on the left is OIL PRESSURE !!! See how even before the engine starts, as I'm cranking it, the guage rises ??? That's because the oil pump is turning while I crank it over..... besides, this is an AMERICAN-MADE V8.... It can take it.

1954 was the first year for the 239 overhead valve v8 so unless the car came from Canada, it had the OHV engine in 1954......

What model is it does it have the Ford power assists that were offered as options that year. 1 Power brakes 2 PSteering 3 Power seats & Power Windows.
