  • Dog is CUTE! good camera choice!

  • Thank you!

  • Oh btw, do you have auto focus turned off? Only asking as when I pan round with mine it tends to go out of focus for a split second then back in, but on this clip yours doesn't seem to do that.

Cool dog too, I used to say the same to mine "whozit! - send em off" wooof! lol

  • No I did not have auto focus turned off for this vid. I was just using the IA mode, or Intelligent Auto mode. To be honest i have not played about with the other camera settings much yet. But I know what you mean about it loosing focus for a second, its happened to me a few times, and I have seen it on other peoples videos with the same camera. Perhaps because my video was with a pretty plain background, the auto focus did not have to work too hard.

  • Thanks, tested mine yesterday when it was snowing again. Quality turned just like this of yours. Impressive camera.

  • Yeah I agree it is a good camera!

  • Just bought one of these cams 2 weeks ago, what settings are best for recording HD and postin on youtube, also the settings for recording and playing on an HD TV.

  • Using the AVCHD LITE and record quality set to SH is best for playing on a HD TV.

MOTION JPEG and record quality set to HD is good enough for Youtube i think.

But i am not sure if you can directly upload a AVCHD Lite file to Youtube....I have not tried it yet. You may need to convert it to another format.

  • Sharp image responce, also, nice dog!

  • Thanks!
