@tekishatjones Nation of Islam is not the same as Islam. You can google about the Nation or look for more details in Wikipedia. The articles there should tell you the differences and how some followers of the Nation, including descendants of the founder himself, ended up discarding the tenets of the Nation and embracing true Islam, insyaAllah.

@mojustin Simply put: People are not following Islam. They've mixed Islam w/ cultural beliefs, and have called that Islam. Muslim countries supposedly following Shariah aren't really following Shariah totally, which is why they're in problems.

I don't like the answers given to you. islam never promised to end world hunger,suffering, wars, etc. These misery, for the most part are directly or indirectly caused by the evilness of humans. Islam and every other reilgion God revealed to mankind directs humans to uphold values that will help them live this life in a good way and eventually lead them to their ultimate test.

If Jesus was God, why did He say "The Father is greater than I" in (John 14:28)? If Jesus was god than he should be equal to the father. And notice that he didn't say MY father, he said THE father. When Jesus was dying on the cross why did he say, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46). If he was god, then why would he be complaining to himself? These are quotes directly from the bible, you can't just ignore them.

@mojustin Simply put: People are not following Islam. They've mixed Islam w/ cultural beliefs, and have called that Islam. Muslim countries supposedly following Shariah aren't really following Shariah totally, which is why they're in problems.

I don't like the answers given to you. islam never promised to end world hunger,suffering, wars, etc. These misery, for the most part are directly or indirectly caused by the evilness of humans. Islam and every other reilgion God revealed to mankind directs humans to uphold values that will help them live this life in a good way and eventually lead them to their ultimate test.

Ask yourself why are you here in this world, why do you exist what is your purpose. If everyone would look at themselves first there would be no wars because people would be to busy looking and concerning about themselves and not looking at what others are doing. Allah will ask you what YOU did and not what Bush did!

I think christanity is one of stongest religion even though it's hard to tell people about that why UBM hold beach missions at england,ireland,wales where we play games and tell people more about god

if i was prime minister i was declare all shops stay closed on sundays betwwen 10:00am-12:00pm and 5:00-9:00 because thats when the morning and evening service are on at my church

If Jesus was God, why did He say "The Father is greater than I" in (John 14:28)? If Jesus was god than he should be equal to the father. And notice that he didn't say MY father, he said THE father. When Jesus was dying on the cross why did he say, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46). If he was god, then why would he be complaining to himself? These are quotes directly from the bible, you can't just ignore them.

For all those who are non Muslims my advice would be to read Quran with translation though a translation can't pass on the message of the original language but will be helpful. You will feel as is ALLAH is talking to you. Quran is a book of logic, reasoning, understanding and guidance. Islam and Quran is a complete code of life.

brother, i was born to muslim parents but never bothered to learn about Islam.. after many bad things i came to senses, and started to find my way to Allah whom i have abandoned for years.. I always belived in Allah cause other religions made no sense to me.. just today i saw the Quran and cried for being so stupid.
