Had a get-together this weekend. Many family members & friends saw my Mame cabinet for the 1st time. Had a Ms. Pac-Man competition. It was hilarious listening to all the crap-talking about who's got the highest score, swearing when they died, etc. Then we accidentally broke the damn joystick.. :( LOL!! (already repaired)

There is one of these machines at the movie theater arcade, but it has screen warp, it's positioned too low, and the sound is a little weird..

this must be a ms.pacman/ galaga reunion machine. because the origionals did not have a function to select galaga or pacman, you had to put in a code on these machines (up,up,up, down down down, left, right, left, right, left i think, anyone correct me on the code if im wrong anywhere.

this must be the Pac-Man 25th anniversary machine. How do you select between Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man? I only see two start buttons on each side on this cabinet. Left for Pac-Man/Ms. Pacman and right for galaga.

Some Ms. Pacman units have a hack built in that allow you to make Ms. Pacman faster. It's a DIP switch in the user menu.

Was the a design change to make Ms Pacman faster? Or was it an adjustment that could be made in the program? I never understood why some of the machines were slow and others were fast.

The speed-up version of Ms. Pac is for the handycapped. Play the original, un-messed with version and give me a call when you can get at least 250k
