Well we are going to be picking up our baby DYH on Sunday. I am very excited.I have had everything from conures to a Greenwing Macaw but this is my first Amazon.

We have parrots and none of them are as loud as these two I have been thinking of getting a Magna DYH. These 2 are a little loud I am hoping that just one wouldn't this loud. Scooter and Booger are so cute 2gether though

Hi, these 2 r very vocal & also learned bad habits frm previous caretaker(s). Magna DYH r very vocal, whether they learn words or jst scream, And, evn more vocal whn they demand attention & time. In general, amazons r nippier thn other parrots. .Also, know that DYHA tend to b VERY possessive of their perceived mate. But, they cn b very comical & beautiful pets. Note: not all Amazons hav this extreme behavior but, certainly can b prone 2 it.

*A nice quiet med-size parrot is a female Eclectus

Have you ever seen nature films of flocks of parrots? They are constantly screeching. Something to consider before getting a parrot.
